Reviews for Pegasus Suites & Spa

Great experience at a fantastic location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The room (a junior suite) was large and comfortable. The view of the caldera was amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant menu is limited but there are plenty of great restaurants within 5 minutes walk (and the hotel breakfast was great). Highly recommended. Be aware that the hotel is built into the side of the cliff so there are a lot of steps. Also, if driving, you can’t get to the entrance. There’s a free public car park by the basilica 5 minutes down the (steep) hill, so aim for that on satnav, not the hotel itself

YOU’LL WANT FOR NOTHING AT PEGASUS SUITES

The taxi dropped us off at the end of the beaten track, we could go no further. Where was the hotel? Out of nowhere appeared a smiling guy dressed in a pristine white T-shirt, with luggage trolley in hand! He proceeded to escort us up the incline to reception.Uphill, down dale we were greeted by Effie and Maria, who along with Charis, were on hand for us throughout our stay in paradise! After a well deserved Buck’s Fizz, and the registration out of the way, we were escorted to our suite, where the only way was down! We had a top floor suite, which is in actual fact at ground floor level ( you’ll understand what I mean when you arrive!) We would definitely recommend a higher level, and also on the left side of the hotel ( looking out towards the sea), as this gives you the most spectacular views, but more importantly more sunshine, and the sunset each evening ( clouds permitting!) Our balcony was a lot larger than our suite, well let’s face it you spend more time out there than you do inside! The balcony, as I mentioned was vast.It housed a generously sized hot tub, two fabulous sun beds, a table and chairs for dining, and a two seater settee! As for the suite, this is cave like, with a stone bed frame (plus comfy mattress!) and a stone shower. Mini fridge to hand, along with everyday essentials, and a welcoming bottle of plonk, with a plate of freshly prepared fruits. Breakfast is served two ways, the energetic way, in the restaurant or terrace overlooking the Caldera, or the lazy way, in your suite, or balcony. I would recommend the energetic way, there’s more choice, and you can squeeze your own oranges! Lunch and dinner are down to your own personal choice. We had lunch on our balcony on one occasion, which was lovely. The remainder of our days were spent exploring the restaurants nearby. A word of advice, if you don’t like people turn left onto the walkway out of the hotel. There you will find restaurants “off the beaten track”, less commercial, and better value. If you like people, turn right and head down into the town of Fira. There’s more choices of eateries, but my advice is, if you’re eating late when it’s dark head to the back streets and eat. Eating overlooking The Caldera is commercial, expensive, and you don’t see a thing( except lights) as it’s pitch black! TIP: Go to Anogi restaurant, it’s a left turn, and set back a street or two, you’ll find it on your Google thingy. To sum up, the hotel was so professionally run, you want for nothing. The cleanliness was uncanny, and that applies to everywhere we went in Santorini ( I’ve never been in so many consistently clean loos!) . Oh I nearly forgot, take your gym kit and visit the fitness room, then maybe the sauna in the spa, and finish off with a massage! Have fun, and bring back happy memories!

Exceptional Hospitality in Imerovigli

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

If you are looking for a place that combines the famous Santorini views with world-class service, Pegasus Suites & Spa is it. While the scenery is stunning, it was the staff who truly made our stay special. A huge thank you to Maria, Effie, Chari, Behzad, and Christoph for their incredible help—from seamless airport transfers to car rentals and perfect restaurant recommendations. The Suite: We treated ourselves to the Honeymoon Suite, and it was worth every penny. Having a private Jacuzzi and high-quality sun loungers meant we could enjoy the Caldera view in total peace. The daily housekeeping was charming, often leaving creative floral designs in the room. Plus, having a fridge and coffee/tea facilities made it feel like a home away from home. The Food: The breakfast here is a huge spread that caters to everyone. You can get a proper latte or cappuccino alongside a mix of American staples (eggs, bacon, cereal) and authentic Greek treats. The spanakopita and dolmas were fresh and delicious every single morning. Location & Tips: • Walking: It’s a very safe and scenic walk to Firostefani and Fira. • The Steps: Just a heads-up that, like most of Santorini, there are a lot of stairs! It’s great exercise, but be prepared. There are a lot of steps – and I mean a LOT. We did see people walking with canes who managed the steps, but this side of the island is not manageable for people in wheelchairs or walkers. • Activities: The staff are experts at booking tours; our catamaran trip was a highlight of the vacation. The hospitality here is truly exceptional. We leave with wonderful memories and can't recommend this team highly enough!
