About the Hotel

Beautifully set in the midst of the Aegean Sea, part of the Cyclades archipelago, is the glorious Greek isle of Santorini. This romantic destination is home to the chic Thermes Luxury Villas, a seven-suite retreat with villa names that pay homage to Greek goddesses. The marriage of traditional appointments and contemporary design results in an incredibly stylish space and exceptional al fresco areas. Each villa suite is inspired by bursts of turquoise or persimmon against crisp white walls. Outside are spacious balconies with wooden floors and generously sized chaise lounges. Each villa has its own infinity-edge pool overlooking the azure waters.

Reviews for Thermes Luxury Villas

An incredible experience.

My family and I have just returned from a two week stay at Thermes Luxury Suites. We are Santorini veterans having visited the island for nearly 20 years. The villa lived up to expectations: Spacious, private, well appointed. The breakfast service delivered each morning was a huge treat, choosing between indoors on sleepy mornings or out by the pool on other days. It felt so luxurious and the food was fantastic with fresh products, pastries, coffee and juices. The villa and pool were cleaned as regularly as we wanted and nothing was too much trouble including restaurant reservations on our behalf. What sets this property apart though is the team. WOW. Our children were made to feel like royalty and our whole family made to feel so wanted. Irene and Sandy run the show with class and elegance - and warm hugs. Harris does a bit of everything, always with a smile and a joke. Ali was our breakfast magician who never seems to get tired. Plus ‘chef man’, and the cleaners who were extremely polite, smiley, and hard working. There were tears when leaving - we know we’ll always come back to Santorini but it was like leaving family at the end.

Our sincerest thanks for making Thermes not just a place to stay, but a home from home. We felt so special and I hope our gratitude was equally felt as we had an abundance of it.

Nice accommodations in Megalochori

This is a very nice location. A short walk into Megalochori which is a very nice village with a few good restaurants. There is also a winery very close by. You have a private pool. There is also a spa though we did not use any of those services as we only stayed one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The only reason it did not receive 5 stars is because there is a helicopter tour company next door and the helicopters take off and land many times throughout the day and are very disruptive.

We had ferry issues so we had to stay on the island an extra day. Our hotel couldnt accomadate us so we found availability here. Super nice staff, very private, and the personal pool is lovely. The only negative is the helicopter that takes off on tours multiple times thru the day.

Forever grateful

We had a wonderful time at the Thermes Villas, where we had a family wedding. The view from all villas is awesome, the accommodations fulfilled our expectations, and the staff was awesome. Special mention to the staff on duty our last night, our grandson needed medical attention and Mr Panos took it upon himself to drive us to the Er where he helped us get in, waited until he was evaluated and treated, and drove us back. He went way above and beyond the call of duty, and was truly caring about his well being . We will never forget the special attention our family we received during our stay.

Great family accommodation.

I’m a tourist who hates tourists. So I like to be out of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist destinations but still able to get to them if my wife an d three kids deem in absolutely necessary. This resort is perfect for this. The villas are spacious and have their own pools with an uninterrupted view into the caldera. Breakfast is delivered straight to your patio and is an amazing mix of hot and cold, Greek and traditional bacon and eggs. Staff so friendly and helpful. Visit the local town (Megalachorie) for evening food and drinks within a 10 min walk. The busses pass the entrance and the stop is 5 mins up the hill. €1.80 to Thera and get a connecting bus from where this bus drops you up to Oia. Do not go to Oia in the evening as the crowds are crazy and unpleasant. Go first thing in the morning.
