Lots of time wasted

As a person who stays a lot of nights in hotel rooms this was my first stay at a Hyatt and will be my last. At almost $700 per night for room, valet, destination fee and everything else tacked on was not good. They have 2 elevators which probably not enough and 1 was down. Ended up carrying everything up and down stairs including sleeping baby in stroller. Waited at front desk multiple times for very simple things (get an umbrella 30 minutes, return umbrella 30 minutes, ask for towels that housekeeping left none in room 20 minutes). Called Hyatt and told if issues talk to local hotel. Asked multiple times at front desk to be called by GM or management and non during stay and now full weekday and still no call. They don’t care about you. FYI Hilton diamond for life and Marriott gold. Hundred plus days a year in hotel rooms and I found the worse service hotel here.

Great Location and Great Hotel!

The hotel staff was very friendly and everything was clean and just perfect! The complimentary water and snacks throughout our stay was a nice plus. The location was great for getting everywhere on foot. We self parked at the attached garage which was very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking at Savannah.

Great first big vacation

This was my first experience with a relatively nice hotel. With my AMEX card with perks like complementary breakfast (30 per person I think) as well as the 100 dollar credit was nice and very well integrated. If you want to visit Savannah this hotel is in a great location. Everything was pretty much in walking distance and you have plenty of things to do. Highly recommend.

Must-stay hotel in Savannah!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Just came back from a 3 night stay at the Andaz Savannah and could not recommend it more. My husband and I booked the hotel using our Amex Platinum to lean into our $200 Fine Hotels annual credit. We made a note that we were celebrating our anniversary. Due to a very delayed flight, we did not check in until about 2 am and the valet attendant was able to unlock the main door for us to get into the building. With the Amex Platinum, one of the perks is that you get a free room upgrade when available. We booked the Andaz Loft but were pleasantly surprised to find we were upgraded to the Andaz Suite (room 222). The suite was quite spacious and had a beautiful view of Ellis Square. We were only one floor up so there was a little bit of noise at night with people coming and going from the bars but nothing that kept us awake. The blackout curtains in the room are a very nice touch! They also left us a box of chocolates acknowledging celebrating our anniversary - quite the kind gesture! We ate a 22Square on Friday morning since we received a $60 breakfast credit with the Amex Platinum and the food was delicious. Our waitress Glynnis was the epitome of southern hospitality and regularly checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, would absolutely recommend the Andaz to anyone coming to Savannah. Everyone we encountered working there had a smile on their face and the hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the city.
