Beautiful hotel. Excellent, attentive staff. Rooms are clean, well kept and charming. We stayed in a poolside room. Access to pool and workout room was great. 2nd stay at this hotel and we will be back.

Maintenance tools left in my "ready for guests" room. $53 valet parking and the gal at the front desk said garages nearby were very similar. Didn't trust her so checked. Closest garage was $20/day. You need better options. No fridge in room. Hotel this nice should have basics like that. After waiting two minutes had to speak up to get someone to come out of hiding place in back to front desk. Ten plus rings to get front desk phone answered. Not impressed....

Gorgeous property!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We absolutely ADORE the De Soto. Try to come a few times a year. For the first time it just wasn’t great. They had some sort of convention/meeting group in a room DIRECTLY across from ours that met most of the day and then had an after hours event at the pool (which was right beside our room). Obviously, it was a bit more noise than we had hoped so we spent more time out of the room then we would have preferred when this was supposed to be a relaxing getaway just to rest and reset. Sadly they started back up FIRST THING in the morning and we were awakened before 8am. Things happen and we aren’t too balled up about it but I do ask management to be more mindful when booking large groups as to how they will affect the guests who are staying for non work related purposes. Front desk staff and valet were top tier as always! Hotel is breathtakingly gorgeous and we will of course be back.

Much-Needed Couple’s Getaway with an Amazing View

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We had a great stay at The DeSoto! It was much-needed couple’s time, and everything from the atmosphere to the service made it special. We also enjoyed dining at The 1540 Room, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room on the 7th-floor balcony had an amazing view, definitely a highlight of the trip! The only downside was that the bed and pillows were a bit too soft for our comfort. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Very Poor and Unprofessional Service Desj

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

The Saturday morning front desk person was very rude for simply asking for a early check-in. I had to check in before 12 noon since I had a zoom call at that time. I had to pay $50 just to investigate the possibility to an early check-in
