Reviews for The DeSoto

De Soto a De Nono

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 9 hours ago

This is a very dirty hotel. The hallways had debris on the floor, splatters on the wall, and mounds of dirt and dust throughout. The room was also dirty with multiple clumps of hair in the bathroom, stained floors, and in need of a deep clean. The hallways and room had a very unpleasant odor. The pool area was a bit rundown. The main atrium area and bar spaces were decent. The hotel is outdated and not worth $300 a night. It felt like staying in a rundown motel. I give 2 stars soley for the customer service. The staff behind the counter and valet were nice, helpful, and inviting. I thank you for that.

Great stay! Couldn’t beat the location if you like walkable vacations. The staff are the best part—friendly and accommodating and any issues we had were solved quickly and effectively. Hotel is great too, I just wish the pool had more chairs! :)

Overall A Good Stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Stay was very good. It would have been more helpful to have a mini fridge in the room. Difficult to keep water cold on the hot and humid days. Very nice people. The only downside was a bartender at Proof Restaurant that was quite indifferent and rude.
