Good but warmer than expected
Fantastic staff, beautiful historic hotel, the only downside I would say is the air conditioning is outdated and not very cool in mid summer until the evening. But all in all a great experience! Definitely will return!

The location was conveniently close to everything you need. Beds were also comfortable. I was bummed the room didn’t drop 70 degrees below!

Great USA 250th!
We have always loved the DeSoto, and this was our best trip yet! We watched the Savannah (USA 250) fireworks from our beautiful 9th floor king corner room /balcony. Fun time with lots of great folks at the pool as well. Service was impeccable and the pool bartender worked his rear off for the 4th!

Nice atmosphere, dirty rooms
Great atmosphere, Great location, and Staff was phenomenally amazing (minus housekeeping on floor 11), the room was extremely dirty. I had to clean it myself after pulling back the comforter and finding hair all over the sheets and pillows. Lots of hair. I had to call down for new bedding and changed them, then purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself.

Unprofessional STAFF
Staff in the meeting room were very unprofessional. Honestly, if you want to organize a business meeting, DeSoto is not the option.
