We wanted a quintessential Savannah hotel, the DeSoto looked to fit the bill. Upon entering the lobby, wow! Very grand, not sure if we fit in there. But the rooms are really nothing special! No refrigerator, no microwave, worn floors. Bathroom was clean but small. The beds were comfortable! The body wash in our shower was empty, required asking twice to get it refilled. The elevators were quick, never had to wait long. The hallways are very dim. The balcony was literally just that, a concrete slab extended from the room, no chair or anywhere to sit and the sliding door was hard to open and close. Would I stay here again? No, I’m sure there are better options in a similar price range.

Everything was lovely!!! The staff was so attentive. Breakfast was great! Bat was fun, room was spotless and spacious! Were locals and for rooms downtown five Cathedral wedding. The location was perfect- a block away from all our events!

This hotel location is very convenient to many bars and restaurants, but not right on the main Broughton Street area where all the boutiques and restaurants and bars are. Hotel pricing was a lot less expensive than many of the hotels immediately in the tourist area. Hotel was clean. Service was good, fitness center was very inadequate. Overall, a good value for the money.

Cute hotel in an excellent location. This hotel has a great coffee bar, bar with happy hour, and a restaurant. The valet service was awesome especially Charlie F. He was helpful and so friendly!
