Reviews for The Kimpton Brice Hotel

Dog friendly shouldn’t mean unclean

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I paid $600+ for an overnight stay with my dog on the way back from Florida up north. Generally, neighborhood felt safe, staff was helpful. Snagged free parking right out front. Tiny bathroom. Room flooring was laminate. They had someone send what seemed to be an automated obligatory text message asking how the stay was so far, but when I replied multiple time with complaints - loud shouting and screaming in the hallway, urine smell everywhere especially the front desk and entrance area, and hotel room, no one replied. I would recommend cleaning more thoroughly and hosing down areas multiple times per day.

Would definitely come again

We stayed here in August of 2024. We had originally planned to stay one night but ended up grabbing another night. And Yeah, you guessed right. It was because this place is awesome! The hotel has clean rooms, great AC, a super cosy pool area and a super nice location for all the things you would want to see in Savannah. And have you guys ever met Gwen?!! If you haven’t you’re missing out. Trust me! Gwen works at the bar at the hotel and is now my favorite person in Savannah. Gwen is sweet and kind and she made our trip even more special. She went out of her way to give us really great tips for things to see in Savannah and made us feel really welcome. The other thing about this hotel I really loved is that they are SUPER pet friendly and we loved everything about it. Our dog was back home in Europe, so it was great to get a little bit of doggy heaven. All in all a high recommendation from us. Oh and guys… Don’t forget to tip Gwen, she really deserves it!

Excellent Hotel. Very good location with large rooms. Brian was a big help to me at the front desk. Definitely worth a visit.

Pleasant Enough

We like Kimpton hotels, as generally meet our expectations, with really nice decor, bedding etc but our room in this hotel was slightly ‘knocked around the edges’, fridge cabinet door broken and large corner of veneer off, as was part of the bed surround veneer, the hand basin cracked. We also hadn’t expected so many dogs, woken up by one yapping and crying in room opposite for at least 30 minutes as owners had presumably gone out, the nice outside seating area had a very bad odour maybe dog? All the staff at reception, front door, housekeeping were lovely, friendly and helpful. A good location right on the edge the historical area and riverfront. Great to have coffee and tea in the mornings and a wine hour.

Delightful Pet Friendly Hotel in a Delightful Part of Savannah

Always a beloved stop on my annual drive between Florida to Vermont. Service can be a bit glacial at times, but the rooms are clean and modern, the pool is lovely, and the location is in a historic part of town with awe dropping architecture. Added bonus are several destination chargers in the hotel's paid valet parking lot, where you can charge your electric car overnight. Even though you have to pay for parking, the charging was free.
