The Kimpton Brice Hotel

Absolutely a charming, southern hospitality greeting from Jason W. Always a smile, a joke, and a wonderful recommendation for places to visit during my stay.

Stayed here as a family on the way to Florida. Check in was fine. Valet for our car was very steep at $50 per day but I knew that before I booked. Situated in a beautiful area, easy to walk around. The room was ok but quite small but also very clean. When we arrived we wanted to get out quickly to explore but we had no towels for a shower. I went back to reception and they told me to look around the vanity and call if we indeed didn’t have any. I couldn’t find any so went to call and the phone was not working. So I had to go to reception again. Told her the phone wasn’t working so she called housekeeping who delivered towels. I also asked where the iron was. They don't have irons only a steamer. So we had to work that out for 4 peoples clothes before we went anywhere. An iron would have been much easier/faster. They serve complimentary wine I think for an hour up to 6pm which is nice. Dogs are allowed - I personally loved this as I’m a dog lover. I would return to the area as it was so beautiful but would probably stay somewhere else.
