Very nice hotel. Not sure what I expected but it certainly exceeded my expectations. Big room, big bathroom, clean everything. Just damn nice.

Fantastic property and staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! The location is central and also provides a quiet sanctuary after a long day of exploring.

What a wonderful stay! travelled for work and it didn't feel like that the moment I entered the Thompson Savannah. The staff made me feel special. They were friendly and genuine. Their smiles went a long way. The bars and restaurants are top notch and serve the finest. The happy hour steals the show. The guests and the vibe make you feel like you always belonged here.

ALL staff we encountered during our stay were absolutely phenomenal in delivering an elevated level of service. From the time we arrived until the time we left, the level of hospitality was incredible. Gabriel at the front desk. Allen - the driver of the House Car. Unfortunately, I did not get the names of the housekeeping staff or the young man in valet who handled our luggage. The staff on the rooftop lounge – Bar Julian – were very pleasant and efficient. My wife and I were both VERY impressed that the Manager on the rooftop was active and involved! When it was busy, she was on the floor helping out her servers. When it was a bit slower, she was floating and checking in on patrons. This is rare and is indicative of a very high level of care and service. We had our vehicle because we drove in and utilized valet but, with the exception of driving out for a day trip to Tybee, we never needed it due to the Thompson's House Car service. This is an extraordinary benefit. We were able to get around town without having to worry about parking and such. It is the benefit of having an Uber/Lyft without that expense (although we did tip the driver). I will say, the suite we were in - while very well appointed, was quite a bit smaller than what we are accustomed to for a premium suite. Nevertheless, it was very comfortable. Another thing I like is that their climate control system is very exact and precise. The King bed was extremely comfortable and was a true King sized bed. World of Hyatt Globalist benefits received: Proactively upgraded to a Premium Suite - amazing! Comp breakfast at the rooftop restaurant daily - amazing! Comp bottles of Saratoga water in our suite replenished daily by housekeeping - amazing! Comp valet parking - amazing! Proactively asked about late checkout and delivered - amazing! I genuinely cannot say enough good things about our stay at Thompson Savannah! The only negative… We booked for the Sunday Brunch and were very disappointed. This was really the only let down in our entire experience at Thompson Savannah. The menu was extremely limited and not even nearly as good as the daily breakfast menu at Bar Julian. We ended up not even eating here so I cannot speak to the quality of the food. Just that the menu was very subpar. ALSO - it should not be called a "Jazz Brunch" if there isn't LIVE jazz music. Pumping mediocre jazz through the sound system does not.... It is very misleading to call it a "Jazz Brunch." But again – all in all – a VERY pleasant stay! And we will be back!

We came here for a conference. As a conference speaker, our room was covered by the organization that hired us. We clarified this details with the receptions staff when we checked in because they asked us for a credit card for incidentals. We had that conversation. We got home and realized we were charged for the room and now corporate is making us chase them down even though they admitted their mistake over the phone. It's confirmation number 3991799801.
