Great modern hotel on the Savannah river front.
Excellent location in the new part of the Savannah river front area. The hotel is modern and new. Outstanding river views from our room. Corner room was spacious, shower was massive, staff extremely attentive. It was a short walk along the river front to the historic section but we enjoyed staying slightly away from the high activity zone. Roof top bar was great, the connected coffee shop had excellent baked goods for an informal breakfast in the room.

Lovely stay at The Thompson Hotel, Savannah
Very nice, brief stay at The Thompson Hotel, Savannah. It's located away from the busier part of town by the Savannah River so if you prefer something quieter this is a good option. It's a boutique property with a lovely contemporary feel. The room was modern, felt new and very clean. Staff was attentive and happy to assist. The house car is a nice touch since it isn't located right in the historic quarter.
