Great hotel for business, girls trip, bridal parties, and romantic getaways
My stay at this hotel was top-notch! It is an affiliate of Hyatt. The room was very nice, and the coffee was fantastic. Nespresso! A lounge sofa with a table was perfect for doing business after-hours. WIFI access was included. They had a very nice pool area, but I did not get a chance to use it. :( The rooftop bar was crowded every night. We sat next to members of a bridal party. They were loud, but so nice. I learned at lot of the locals frequent the bar, especially on weekends. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great spot!
Nice, comfortable and convenient hotel. Rooftop bar had great views, food and service. Overall, great stay! Will consider again if traveling to Savannah!

Better in 2024
The kitchen staff of 2024 and the menu were amazing this year; however, the menu is mediocre. I will be staying elsewhere in the future as you can visit the hotel's restaurant without staying there.

Exceeded expectations in all ways!
The Thompson was a really fabulous hotel - exceeded expectations! We loved the location, off the river with a very nice walking path for our dog. The hotel is dog friendly AND does not charge a pet fee!! Which is crazy considering that it more upscale from the basic Hyatt portfolio. Multiple restaurants in the area and the downtown shops were less than a mile away. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfy! The bathroom products were fabulous. Staff were all so friendly and helpful! Absolutely worth the money! We will only stay there when back in Savanah!

Great hotel and Experience
Beautiful hotel on the river. Sleek, sexy, modern vibe. Great rooftop restaurant. Location is perfect as its outdide of the congestion of Savannah yet close enough to downtown. Would stay here again!
