Masseria Torre Maizza, a Rocco Forte Hotel

Amazing experience and will be absolutely back! I travel often and am quite picky. This hotel is one of the best I’ve been to. They get 10/10 for atmosphere, rooms, f&b and customer service. Their concierge team went above and beyond to ensure a perfect trip for my husband and I. The hotel staff also provided so many thoughtful details throughout our stay. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. I am looking forward to returning again and also visiting other Rocco Forte properties.

My daughter and I traveled to Puglia to stay in Masseria Torre Maizza. We checked first online to make sure that the hotel had access to a beach, swimming pool, touring activities of nearby towns and other activities, not always an easy combination to find. To our delight, the hotel offered all these opportunities and more, the option to create bespoke experiences as well. The rooms are gorgeous, reflective of the ceramic and tile industry of the region and there are at least two room-cleaning services per day. The food is consistently amazing, having been awarded Michelin status, with most of the vegetables and olive oil coming directly from their organic garden. But what most impressed us was the staff. Highly professional, they provided us not only a truly memorable itinerary but also infused our stay with attention, warmth and kindness. They truly bent over backwards to accommodate our every whim. From our first reception by Pasquale to the drivers (Tana, Nicholas) to the restaurant (Giuseppe, Roberto) the the concierge desk (Isabella, Antonella), we were treated as queens in a castle (or at least a Torre!). Thank you Masseria Torre Maizza for making out stay so special and memorable. Non lo dimenticherò mai!

We had a wonderful stay at Masseria Torre Maizza. The grounds are beautiful and green, surrounded by magnificent old olive trees. Our room was quiet, comfortable, impeccably clean and very well maintained. We especially enjoyed the small private garden, perfect for a peaceful morning coffee. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with high-quality ingredients, great variety and wonderful flavors. The restaurant and bar staff were consistently friendly and attentive. The front desk and concierge team were exceptional. They helped us plan our days, booked local restaurants and recommended beaches and places to visit. Every recommendation was a bullseye. The pool was magical—we spent a full day swimming, relaxing and eating by the pool in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The Lido beach was also lovely, although a sudden summer storm shortened our visit. The gym was well maintained and fully equipped. The location is also excellent for exploring Puglia. With a car, we found it very practical to use the Masseria as a base for day trips in different directions, rather than changing hotels every few days. We visited Bari, Lecce, Porto Cesareo, Monopoli, Locorotondo, Alberobello and Savelletri, returning to the Masseria each evening. For travelers who prefer not to do a traditional road trip, this “star-shaped” approach is certainly worth considering—although, of course, a road trip through Puglia is an equally valid option. Beautiful surroundings, excellent food, superb service and genuine tranquility. Masseria Torre Maizza is truly one of a kind. We highly recommend it and would certainly love to return.

It is difficult to put into words just how incredible our stay at Masseria Torre Maizza was. We have been fortunate to stay at many beautiful luxury hotels around the world, but we can genuinely say that we have never experienced anything quite like this. Everything was exceptional — the property, the atmosphere, the rooms, the food, the pool, the beach club, and above all, the level of service. There is an incredible attention to detail throughout the hotel, but at the same time everything feels warm, personal and effortless. A very special mention has to go to Fortunato and Isabel from the concierge team. They completely transformed our trip to Puglia. Every single day, they helped us plan where to go, what to see, where to eat and how to organize our day. Their recommendations were always perfect. We literally had to think about nothing — we would simply speak to them and they would take care of everything. What impressed us most is that the service never felt forced or simply “five-star.” Everyone genuinely seemed to care about making our stay special. We arrived expecting a beautiful hotel and left feeling that we had discovered something truly exceptional. Masseria Torre Maizza is, without hesitation, the best hotel experience we have had. Thank you to the entire team, and especially Fortunato and Isabel, for making our stay in Puglia unforgettable. We will absolutely be back.
