The property is perfectly situated to explore all of Puglia and when you return, a peaceful oasis awaits with great ambience, food, and wine. I enjoyed the executive golf course and jumped in the large pool after. The concierge was incredible, she effortlessly planned many aspects of our trip.

Born as a fortified refuge for monks and pilgrims, over the centuries the complex evolved into a traditional farmhouse (masseria). Recently bought and restored by Rocco Forte, it has acquired all the features of a true 5-star luxury hotel, deeply rooted in the traditions of Puglia. Unlike many other local masserie, Torre Maizza blends into a truly outstanding and unique whole its original architecture, the region’s famous local stone, luxurious comfort, and the fragrances of the land—jasmine, citrus groves, and myrtle. What was once hospitality offered to travelers and monks has now become an exclusive and refined form of hospitality: a feast for the eyes, characterized by understated elegance rather than fleeting trends, and enriched by first-class amenities such as a golf course, a swimming pool surrounded by greenery and framed by a beautifully restored colonnade, and a rooftop terrace overlooking the entire valley. Masseria Torre Maizza is an incredible place. to spend time. It is secluded, quiet, luxurious, beautiful and the food is fabulous. It is a great place to use as a base in Puglia but do understand it is not in a town or a short walk to a town so transportation is necessary once there. So long as you are okay with that and have transportation or you understand that staff can arrange it for you and it is short drives to many places then it is a great place to get away. There is a short course golf course.The swimming pool was fabulous and many units have private swimming pools. The rooms were exquisite. To me the restaurant was the best. The food was consistently amazing. The breakfast buffet was full of choices. The dinners were incredible. Our server in the restaurant for dinner was Marianna. She was soooo wonderful we asked for her table the nights we went back. What a delight to have great food, great service and such nice people. I highly recommend Masseria Torre Maizza

Exceptional service, accommodations, F&B, and setting. The musician Mino was fantastic and we enjoyed hearing him play each night!
