We had such a wonderful experience at the cannoli class! Angela, our waitress, was incredibly warm and attentive, Filippo, the chef assistant, was very professional and welcoming, and Massimo, the pastry chef, made the whole experience both fun and authentic. The hospitality throughout was exceptional. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and took the time to explain the traditional Sicilian techniques and ingredients. The quality of the food was outstanding, and you could really taste the freshness and care that went into everything. What made the experience even more special was learning about their own garden, where they grow organic ingredients used in the kitchen. It gave the whole experience an even more authentic and local feel. A truly Sicilian experience: warm, professional, delicious and full of genuine hospitality. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic culinary experience in Sicily!

Having stayed at Verdura Resort many times over the years, we know the resort very well, and Ondino has become one of our favourite places to enjoy a relaxed lunch by the pool. There is something particularly special about dining at Ondino — the beautiful poolside setting, the relaxed atmosphere and the wonderful Sicilian surroundings make it the perfect place to unwind during the day. It has that effortless holiday feeling where you can sit back, enjoy a delicious meal and simply take in the surroundings. The food is consistently excellent, with fresh, beautifully prepared dishes and plenty of flavour. The service is also a real highlight — friendly, attentive and welcoming without ever feeling intrusive. Having returned to Verdura so many times, we’ve experienced many of the resort’s restaurants, and Ondino stands out as a place we always look forward to visiting. It is the perfect combination of great food, lovely service and a fabulous poolside setting. A wonderful spot for a leisurely lunch and, for us, an essential part of every stay at Verdura. We always leave feeling relaxed and well looked after, and we look forward to returning again.

We have just spent ten wonderful days at Verdura and are leaving with so many beautiful memories. What made our stay truly special was not only the incredible resort itself, but above all the people who work here. Everyone was incredibly warm, kind, attentive and genuinely welcoming – and with two small children, Luna and Lino, 4 and 1, there was certainly never a dull moment! 😄 We especially want to thank some wonderful people who made our stay unforgettable: Leonardo – Ondina Restaurant Leonardo was one of the highlights of our stay. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, looked after us at breakfast and in the restaurant, and always made me excellent Sicilian lemonade. He even surprised the children by treating them with ice cream. His extra attention and kindness meant so much to us. Thank you, Leonardo, for all the little things that made such a big difference! Federico – Ondina Restaurant Federico looked after us so warmly both at breakfast and in the Ondina restaurant. He was always incredibly friendly and attentive, and we will especially remember the delicious fish he filleted for us so beautifully. Thank you, Federico, for your wonderful service and for always making us feel so welcome! Antonio – Zagara Restaurant Antonio has looked after us for the third year now, and seeing him again always feels like coming back to family. His warm, attentive and genuinely caring nature makes every visit to Zagara so special. He also gave us the delicious olive oil as a lovely gift, which was such a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful reminder of our time at Verdura. We always feel completely welcome and looked after when we are with him. Thank you, Antonio, for being such an important part of our Verdura experience year after year! Vincenzo – Zagara Restaurant & Liola Restaurant Vincenzo’s service was truly exceptional – professional, attentive and at an incredibly high level, while still being warm, funny and wonderfully Italian. 😄 We felt completely looked after every time we came to Zagara. He also looked after us at Liola, where he served us excellent pizza, making that experience just as memorable. For us as a couple, our evenings at Zagara and Liola were absolute highlights of our stay. Grazie mille, Vincenzo! Andrea – Swimming Instructor Andrea deserves a very special mention for his work with Luna. He was incredibly patient, encouraging and simply a fantastic teacher. In only four swimming lessons, Luna learned to dive and swim – something that made her, and us, incredibly proud. His teaching methods were wonderful, and you can really tell how much experience and passion he has. We would recommend him wholeheartedly! Laura – Kids Club Laura was wonderful with both Luna and Lino – playing games with them, painting, crafting and giving them so much attention and patience. In fact, Laura is the first person I have ever felt completely comfortable leaving my children with for two hours while on holiday. That says everything. ❤️ She created such a warm and trusting atmosphere that I could genuinely relax knowing they were in the best hands. Overall, what struck us most about Verdura was how familiar and genuinely caring the whole atmosphere feels. It never felt like we were simply guests in a hotel – we felt remembered, welcomed and looked after by people who truly cared. To everyone at Verdura: thank you for an unforgettable ten days. You made our family holiday incredibly special, and we hope to come back one day! ❤️ Grazie di cuore! 🇮🇹

We came to this resort as a stop on a tour of Sicily. The place is amazing and the staff very accommodating and friendly. We wish the tour had two days here instead of just one.
