Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows is situated on nearly 23 acres of sweeping desert landscape at the base of Camelback Mountain. Mid-century modern interiors draw inspiration from the innovative 1950's desert art scene with an eclectic mix of bright colors, folk art and cultural patterns. The Guest House, a central gathering place that invites visitors to inhabit, explore and create, resembles an artist’s studio in design and offers board games and coloring books, a stocked library and live rotating art collection. The Turquoise Pool features private cabanas and a bar offering up seasonal treats like spiked popsicles and punchbowls.

We came to attend a friends 50th wedding anniversary. When going to Phoenix and specifically Scottsdale, The Andaz is a wonderful property. It is so nice to leave the bungalow and walk through the gorgeous grounds instead of some hallway in a traditional hotel. The restaurant is top notch, the gym and spa are outstanding.

Great food, very nice hotel! Pool facilities are not huge for a 5* but well maintained. Food was amazing / pay attention on breakfast hotel policy

Want to be treated like a cash machine? Andaz Scottsdale is the place for you. Upon checking in, I was offered multiple opportunities to spend more on my Hyatt points stay. As a Hyatt "elite" (Hyatt's word), complimentary upgraded rooms are supposedly offered at check-in when available. Instead, I was offered the opportunity to upgrade for a fee; so I know upgrades were available -- just not as a courtesy for a "valued guest." After my stay, I brought this to the hotel's attention, and they apologized. Period. There was no attempt to make it up to me, just words. If you decide to attempt to stay here anyway, I suggest you call for directions as you will have trouble finding it hidden behind a shopping mall, restaurant, & apartment complex. We drove around using GPS, but it literally took us a half hour & a lot of guesswork based on surrounding addresses as guides to find it. Would I stay again? No, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

The Andaz Scottsdale is a beautiful property with thoughtfully designed grounds and a great overall aesthetic. The facilities and common areas are lovely, and several members of the staff were genuinely kind and eager to help, which we appreciated. However, for the price point, the overall experience fell short of expectations. We were placed in an accessible room where the shower had no door or curtain, which resulted in water leaking all over the bathroom floor every time it was used. It made the space difficult to use comfortably. Service was also inconsistent. Breakfast service was surprisingly slow despite there being several servers on the floor, and the experience at the bar was disappointing—the staff there came across as curt and unwelcoming. Another issue was the room temperature overnight. Around 3 a.m. the air conditioning seemed to shut off, and the room became uncomfortably warm, which made for a pretty abrupt wake-up. Overall, the property itself is beautiful and some staff members were excellent, but given the nightly rate, we expected a more polished and consistent experience.

Stunning property! It was absolutely so quiet and the grounds were lovely. The smell of the lemon trees were absolutely amazing! We loved everything about property and can’t wait to go back!
