About the Hotel

Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows is situated on nearly 23 acres of sweeping desert landscape at the base of Camelback Mountain. Mid-century modern interiors draw inspiration from the innovative 1950's desert art scene with an eclectic mix of bright colors, folk art and cultural patterns. The Guest House, a central gathering place that invites visitors to inhabit, explore and create, resembles an artist’s studio in design and offers board games and coloring books, a stocked library and live rotating art collection. The Turquoise Pool features private cabanas and a bar offering up seasonal treats like spiked popsicles and punchbowls.

Not 5 Stars!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

For a hotel masquerading as “5 stars”, me and my fiancé had a subpar visit. First off, the room was not well lit, the bed and pillows were not that comfortable, and the AC was not very strong. Second, they did not disclose a parking fee when welcoming us, which we had to discover as a hidden fee when checking out. Definitely not worth your money, go stay at the Hyatt House instead and get some nice dinners!

Birthday Celebration/Relaxation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Clean Spa/resort like in within the States, close to anything you may possibly need…..shopping, grocery, restaurant, sports transportation and scenery, you will not miss anything while being in a resort area , that feels set apart but not off the grid.

Great relaxation.

great experience and very much enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and wonderful food in the onsite restaurant. My wife found the spa very relaxing and received a great massage. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the noise level was not a problem.

Flawless Stay!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Amazing stay. It started with Savannah at the front desk who made sure check-in was smooth and assigned a great room that was perfect for our stay. Such a pleasure to interact with. Gavin, the bellman was top notch as well. At night Javier in the bar made sure we were taken care of. We decided to hang by the pool and Elan provided flawless customer service even while experiencing heavy business levels. I have been in the industry for 20+ years and you have something special there with Elan. She is a gem. Drake was great as well and made sure the TVs had the NFL games on we wanted to watch. Overall one of the best stays ever. We will be back.

Amazing place!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Andaz. My wife and I were extremely happy with our stay. In fact, Andaz exceeded our expectations. We were on a week long trip around AZ and decided to end with some relaxing at the end. At the last second we decided to see if we could arrive at Andaz a day early. We called and the hotel easily accommodated us. Check in was a breeze. The rooms are beautiful. We upgraded at check in for a nominal fee to a Sonoran suite. It was more room than we needed with a living area and two full baths. The showers are huge. Beds comfortable, but the pillows were a bit flat. Pool area is great, plenty of seating in January. The servers were attentive. We had beautiful high 70s weather and the pool was warm and comfortable. We didn’t eat a meal at the restaurant on site, but we did stop in for drinks and dessert at the bar. They had a live musician playing which was nice. Bartenders were attentive. We had a “cakespiration” which we split. Every day they have a different cake that they make and it’s a huge slice to share. We had a large party come in and stand behind us so we decided to leave. The bartender was so kind and offered to send us to a table away from the large group but no worries. My wife had a massage at the spa. Said it was “the best of her life”, see Jennifer for a therapeutic massage! Lots of activities to choose from every day. The hotel does so much to make this a great place to stay. Every employee we encountered was amazingly kind and helpful. I forgot a bathing suit and had one delivered to the hotel. The employees are so nice. You can communicate with them via text too which is a nice touch. Big time recommend Andaz. You won’t regret it!
