About the Hotel

Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows is situated on nearly 23 acres of sweeping desert landscape at the base of Camelback Mountain. Mid-century modern interiors draw inspiration from the innovative 1950's desert art scene with an eclectic mix of bright colors, folk art and cultural patterns. The Guest House, a central gathering place that invites visitors to inhabit, explore and create, resembles an artist’s studio in design and offers board games and coloring books, a stocked library and live rotating art collection. The Turquoise Pool features private cabanas and a bar offering up seasonal treats like spiked popsicles and punchbowls.

Not Quite a Full 5 Star Experience but Still Lovely

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

This is a beautiful property with very helpful staff. The rooms were a little hot and I didn’t like that you couldn’t fully black out the light, but otherwise it was very nice. I wouldn’t say it was a full 5 star resort, but I’d give it a solid 4 stars.

An Upscale Sonoran Retreat That Missed on a Couple of Details

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Perfect location in the heart of Scottsdale AZ, yet tuck away so it feels like you are in a secluded resort. The unique upscale vibe of the property and rooms were top notch. Service both at the pool and at breakfast were excellent. The 23 acre property was impeccably maintained and a picture perfect Sonoran retreat. We enjoyed our long weekend family stay despite not receiving all of the amenities mentioned to us or listed as included with the $50 per day per room resort fee. It seems that welcome beverages, welcome cookies, daily delighters at the pool, a welcome amenity, and turndown service may be hit or miss. On our particular stay, we received none of the above mentioned.

Very accommodating staff - outdated tv systems, stylish hotel cool vibe

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Stylish hotel. Modern Room was comfortable. We had 23E which is a fitness suite with a bedroom and a separate sitting room and 2 full bathrooms Came with bicycles and an ultra cool workout machine in the room. It has digital weights. Very cool Uses hydraulics I guess that you set on the touch screen Only thing is, the TVs are outdated Couldn’t stream YouTube for the entire 4 days we stayed We don’t watch movies or reg tv because of the commercials but they use chrome cast and although they tried to “fix” it, it never worked. Disappointing to say the least. I must say however, mgmt sincerely tried and went above and beyond to apologize They offered us 2 free movies and delivered a cheese platter as an apology. So that was very nice

Hawaiian retreat in Arizona

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I did not feel like I was moments away from the busy read. More like being transported to a far away place with beautiful gardens, super service. I highly recommend this resort for anyone seeking peace and tranquility, yet moments away from great restaurants, hiking and more. The amenities abounded here...

Food /bar options not upto 5* stndards.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Food options are limited and restaurant /bar closes by 9Pm weekdays or 9.30 PM on weekends which is kind of early. And breakfast options not that great. Room sizes not reflectice of bunglow naming.
