Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows is situated on nearly 23 acres of sweeping desert landscape at the base of Camelback Mountain. Mid-century modern interiors draw inspiration from the innovative 1950's desert art scene with an eclectic mix of bright colors, folk art and cultural patterns. The Guest House, a central gathering place that invites visitors to inhabit, explore and create, resembles an artist’s studio in design and offers board games and coloring books, a stocked library and live rotating art collection. The Turquoise Pool features private cabanas and a bar offering up seasonal treats like spiked popsicles and punchbowls.

Friendly, informative and professional staff. The spa pool, whirlpool, and steam room were relaxing and rejuvenating. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great artwork in rooms and in public spaces. Enjoyed meeting "Snickers" in the birds of prey presentation.

Elan Brannan, our server at the pool was outstanding. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and she remembered our names. Pleasant, professional and attentive. She is an excellent representative of Andaz. Elan is the reason we will return again. Great Job!

I booked Andaz Scottsdale to celebrate my first wedding anniversary and made that clear when reserving. I was told the concierge would contact me within 24–48 hours to arrange spa services, but three days passed with no call. When I followed up, I was told to book the Palo Verde Spa myself—information that could’ve been shared from the start. The spa made no effort to accommodate a couples massage, even after I explained it was our anniversary and offered to pay more if needed. I would understand a denial if this were due to poor planning on my part, but I was told someone would reach out—and they never did. By the time I contacted them (the day before our stay), the spa was fully booked. Staff showed little empathy when I raised my concerns, and the only gesture offered was champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries at my expense, adding another $200. After our stay, I even called about a missing item, left a voicemail with housekeeping (Sophia), and still haven’t received a call back two days later. Don’t get me wrong—the hotel is beautiful. But as the old saying goes, if you’re ugly on the inside, you’re ugly on the outside too. For a nearly $1,000 one-night bungalow stay, I expected far better communication, empathy, and follow-through. I spent a lot of time choosing an LGBTQ+-friendly resort with great reviews, but this experience fell far short. Andaz Scottsdale could be exceptional, but it needs a serious reset in customer service and accountability.

The staff was wonderful, very friendly, polite, and helpful. I love the design of the resort I had dinner and breakfast and it was delicious. I stayed in bungalow 11 I really like the space and the private backyard and the fact that I could park right near my bungalow was very helpful.
