About the Hotel
Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows is situated on nearly 23 acres of sweeping desert landscape at the base of Camelback Mountain. Mid-century modern interiors draw inspiration from the innovative 1950's desert art scene with an eclectic mix of bright colors, folk art and cultural patterns. The Guest House, a central gathering place that invites visitors to inhabit, explore and create, resembles an artist’s studio in design and offers board games and coloring books, a stocked library and live rotating art collection. Great location! rooms need refreshed
Fantastic location in Scottsdale the vast property is laid out which will take a bit of walking to and from the front desk and/or restaurant, pool and meeting rooms. The best part was Jason at the front door, he is an amazing employee as we were departing, his genuine care and engagement with our group softened the poor stay (we did not share our experience with anyone btw) This may be my first TA review! As for the guest room; it was quiet and at the farthest point away from the outlets, which at 116 degrees will engage your survivalist instinct. For an upscale brand of Hyatt our guest room was surprising very tired in need of repairs. Not an exhaustive list: once entered....carpet from foyer area was obviously snagged and run, perhaps damaged from vacuuming, the rooms bed frame was broken, red lipstick stains on the clean white towel hanging on the towel bar, the left corner of the bathroom vanity was covered up by a strange blue diamond shaped tile poorly installed, the credenza/desk was bubbles from water damage. Maybe other rooms are better . Your mileage may vary!

Amazing Banquet Team!
I stayed at the Andaz Scottsdale for a training, and the banquets team was incredible! Sue and Augustine took great care of us, and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend for meetings!

Everything was just perfect, from the room, staff, food and drinks! We will be returning to this property very soon! This is an extremely nice hotel

Andaz = Instant Favorite
We stayed at the Andaz Resort in 2024 for my birthday, and it was absolutely incredible. We booked a cabana room that opened directly onto the pool—such a fun and relaxing setup. The pool had a great vibe with an awesome DJ, perfect for celebrating. The service across the board was exceptional, but a special shoutout to the front desk for surprising me with a complimentary bottle of Tito’s when I came looking for ice—such a thoughtful and unexpected birthday gesture! The restaurant was phenomenal—easily one of the best meals we’ve had at a resort. In fact, we loved it so much, we made the drive back just for Valentine’s Day dinner (even though we didn’t stay overnight that time). Everything about our experience was top-tier. We’ll definitely be back!
