Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows

Girls Vacay with my 2 sisters which took 5yrs to accomplish…this exceeded our expectations! Although it was local for myself, we felt worlds away! Loved the vibe of the bungalows, private patio, friendly helpful staff, amazing views from our room & restaurant! Excellent breakfast with great options! We plan to stay again when they can visit next time. I’ve already shared the location with family, friends and colleagues!

After reading the reviews I expected much more from this property but it just didn’t impress me as a 5 star hotel. The property and room was very average. The bartender Yirianni was the highlight of the trip for us. She was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The pool was nice and open 24 hours which was nice.

Stayed here for a few days of a work conference/retreat. Admittedly, I might biased rather than if I was spending $700 a night to stay here. The rooms here are spacious and in small clustered bungalow style single story units. The overall design of the hotel is a small campus with interwoven gardens and walking paths throughout. There is parking strategically placed in the perimeter of the resort as well as a larger central parking lot. All of this helps create the feel of a resort. I was impressed by the interior of the room and the gorgeous bathroom which had tons of natural light and a super open modern desert like design. There was a mini refrigerator that was stocked with options to purchase, but I appreciated that they also provided a few complementary options (water, and soda). The check-in experience was unique, and there was no traditional front desk per se. I don’t know if there is a particular advantage to this, but I guess it was an approach to change up traditional designs, and ways of doing things. It was fine, but if I was particularly tired or just wanted to get to my room, I don’t think I would’ve been enchanted by it, haha. The pools are very nice - I was a little confused by the entrance to the spa pool. It was not well marked and the directions from the front desk had me at the wrong gate. Otherwise this seems to be a well run and aesthetically pleasing resort to stay at for a few days.

This was our 7th stay at the Andaz Scottsdale and it once again did not disappoint. From the welcome drink at check-in to the Turquoise Pool and Bar to Weft and Warp the entire property exceeded our expectations. The property is always so well manicured and the bungalows are beautiful. The food is always amazing at Weft and Warp and the live music is enjoyable. What truly makes it a great experience are the people. From the front desk staff to the staff at Weft and Warp to Mo and the gang at the Turquoise Pool and Bar everyone is so pleasant and enjoyable to interact with. We will definately be back for an 8th stay at the best property in the Valley of the Sun.
