A desert enclave that blends sophisticated Southwestern design with the charm of the Old West, FireSky Resort & Spa, a member of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, is a new Scottsdale classic. Inspired by the influences of Hohokam Indian, Mexican and western styles, nowhere else in Scottsdale is the history and culture of the region so evident. Sample award-winning contemporary cuisine with a Scottsdale twist at Saguaro's, or luxuriate in front of the three-story sandstone fireplace in the resort's living room.

Beautifully re-done mid-century hotel with several different wings, multiple large pools (including with a sandy beach entry), restaurant, bar and beautiful lobby. Very friendly staff, nice rooms, comfortable beds. Clientele was kind iffy - if you're looking to party with friends - this is your place, if you're looking to relax with your significant other, it might not be a great fit. A lot of thongs (and I don't mean shoes) and intoxicated people at the pool. That's not the hotel's fault but if that's not your scene, might want to look elsewhere.

Nice resort, old Havana, Cuba vibe. Room was spacious with a generous seating area and comfortable bed. All rooms seem to have a patio or balcony, some overlooking the pool. We asked for a quiet room, away from the pool, but were very disappointed that the noisy tree trimmers with their loud equipment started before 7:00 am right outside our window! Nice bar in the large lobby with a great bartender, Zac. All of the tapas food that we ordered was delicious (ceviche, tostones and jerk chicken skewers). Two small but nice pools with a poolside bar. One pool even had a small sandy beach area. Plenty of shady spots to sit by the pool. Except for the tree trimmers, it was a nice stay.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby and the staff were very nice but it is lacking in other areas. The pool had leaves and twigs every day of our stay. They were trimming the trees but didn't clean the pool afterwards, A manager came by and apologized but it still didn't get clean, The food we had at the Canal Club was good but the menu is limited. The rooms have espresso machines but if you want a regular cup of coffee it will cost you $6 at the restaurant.

We were in town for a wedding in Phoenix and decided to stay at this boutique hotel within walking distance of downtown. It's important to note that room location makes a big difference. We were given a drab first floor room facing the main road, so it was impossible to sit outside without hearing the rush of traffic. Our room was small but comfy enough for a 3 day stay. The lobby is really pretty and bar area decent for a hotel. I was working remotely and the Wi-Fi and desk area in the room was adequate enough for what I needed. We used the gym several times and the area was clean with relatively new equipment and a Peloton. Of note, this hotel seems to cater to bachelorette parties (because of the spa and pool area) and corporate retreats. During our stay, there was a very large company on site as well as a bachelorette party. Both of these groups occupied most of the bar/lounge area in the evening and the pool area during the day. Not a negative but just a comment for those seeking a more peaceful stay ~ you might encounter large groups at this property.
