JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa

This was the 2 nd time I’ve stayed at this resort and it doesn’t disappoint. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and super clean. Great food, service and atmosphere Highly recommend this hotel and can not wait to return again real soon

The staff at the JW Camelback Inn is clearly well-trained in guest/customer service. Everyone we encountered was polite, friendly, and helpful. They have golf cart drivers all around to shuttle guests across this beautiful and immaculately kept property. The views are stunning, and we saw all sorts of cool desert wildlife (roadrunners, quail, and lizards). They also take great care of their Bonvoy members - we were treated to a nice room upgrade! The food at Lincoln's (steakhouse) was outstanding. We loved our weekend in Phx at the Camelback Inn

A regular visitor and reviewer of this beautiful resort in Scottsdale. We come back year after year for complete rest and relaxation and once again found some peace and quiet in the desert. The staff here are always good and once again really went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. The Front Desk Manager Luz Baar leads a great team who really seem to try their best to please the guests with a "can do" attitude. The bell service with their little buggies were helpful and efficient, always arriving on time for baggage service etc and with a friendly cheerful manner. Our room was quiet and well maintained with excellent housekeeping service. The grounds are the biggest Wow, with fantastic gardens and scenery. Be sure to have an early morning walk to catch the Jack Rabbits, Quail families and other birds and animals before it gets too hot. Pool service at the Jack Rabbit pool excellent as always with amazing cocktails and food. Breakfast at Rita's is always a delight with great welcomes from the team there and always lovely to see Suzi, Darcy, Dora and the gang who do a great job, and the chef who makes the best pancakes and omelettes (and proper Hash Browns) in the US (possibly the world!). Rita's and Lincoln food is good and with very professional service and Happy Hour drinks always worth a visit (Noel in Rita's Bar really looked after us with Waymo and restaurant advice too). All in all we had a wonderful return stay and cannot wait to go back again! The Camelback Inn is truly as it says on the sign "Where Time Stands Still"

This resort gets the higher rating because of its location and gardens which cannot be beaten. With views of Camelback Mountain and Mummy Mountain behind there cannot be much better. Rooms now refurbished and brighter and lighter. Restaurants do a reasonable job. staff were friendly and service oriented. Housekeeping was a minor issue with small items overlooked, like new plastic insert for the ice bucket as an example but not a big enough issue to lower the rating. A premier Marriott property when it comes to grounds and surroundings.

My wife and I visited the JW Camelback last week for maybe our seventh time. Knew we would have a great time, but this stay was the best! We participated in a very special "A Night in Naples" dining experience. An amazing evening where we were able to meet several other guests at a "family style" setting on the patio while enjoying champagne, charcuterie, and a five-star dinner featuring Italian-inspired dishes and deserts. Two chefs were on hand to personally present each of their courses to the group with pride. We had the pleasure of meeting and dining with Jacquie, who is with the JW Camelback. She made the evening that much more enjoyable, sharing great conversation, insights about the dinner, and other fun facts about the property. It made us appreciate the people who are the JW Camelback! Oh, and yes, stayed in one of the great oversize casitas, end unit, bordering on a very private garden area. What a peaceful place. Amazing grounds, great people. Yea, we'll be back!
