Alexis Royal Sonesta Hotel Seattle

I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience with this hotel. It was booked by a third party at a steep discount for going to a timeshare talk, so I had no idea what to expect. I usually stay with Marriott's various brands but am going to check out Sonesta more based on how much I enjoyed this stay. Noble at the front desk was a delight and made my stay more memorable. The hotel was tastefully decorated, and the animal characters are a fun touch. Everything was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Very convenient location. Just don't use their parking. It's way too expensive and has absurdly limited hours for when you can drop off or retrieve your vehicle.

Let me start this review by saying that if Amex didn't make this a preferred hotel and I had booked it through a discounted site, my review might be different. This hotel should not be recommended as a part of the hotel collection. Their customer service at the front desk was horrible and I spoke to 3 different people over the course of my stay. I'm assuming that the working conditions or management must be bad based on the employees. It was clear that they didn't want to or try to offer me any of the perks to using my platinum card. Good luck using your $100 hotel credit unless you want to eat everything in your mini bar or rent a $25 movie. The restaurant/bar on location is barely open and the flyer they hand you at check in doesn't even have the updated hours of operation so we went down for dinner and they were closed. The website has a different menu....it's a mess.

I felt very welcomed upon arrival. Room is great - spacious, clean, everything I need for a two night business trip. Will def return.

This may be my favorite hotel in Seattle. This is my second time coming here and my room is always incredibly spacious and clean. The staff are kind and this time I had an amazing view. It’s very close to lots of great food and fun activities. They always do the best they can to make your stay great. I had an especially positive experience checking in with Noble at the front desk.

We loved Noble upon greeting and due to my name “Alexis” got some extra love Our room is fabulous and we are very happy to have picked this place as our seattle evening!
