A Seattle Icon

We loved the vibe and historical value of The EDGEWATER. The location is amazing. The staff reception and cafe staff were very nice and friendly. A great place to stay in Seattle.

Great location, but disappointing restaurant experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We chose this hotel mainly for its location. Unfortunately, our first breakfast (Monday, August 4th) left a poor impression. We were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant, far from the water view. When we politely asked to move, the restaurant supervisor declined, saying it was “against hotel policy,” and delivered the response in a cold, unwelcoming manner. This experience felt unprofessional and uninviting, and we decided not to return to the restaurant for the rest of our stay. The location is great, but hospitality and flexibility could be improved.

Do not book if you intend to sleep…at all! $650+ for a sleepless night is unacceptable.

Do not book a stay here if you intend to sleep…at all! The rooms above us were blaring music all night, the beds creaked with every move, and the nonstop train right in front of the hotel was enough to make you want to truly lose your mind. The hotel lobby area was cute and convenience to the cruise terminal was what justified fhe $650+ price tag (I guess), but complete lack of sleep at this price point makes this a very frustrating experience. WiFi was also almost completely useless with the signal dropping every other minute.

Beautiful hotel with lots of history and convenient to the cruise dock

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Beautiful hotel with their own restaurant and conveniently located next door to the cruise dock. Easy walk to the dock from the hotel. There is a fireplace in every room. Love the history of the hotel being the place the Beatles stayed.
