Comfortable, Amazing Views & Friendly Staff
Hotel was very clean and has a cool history (look it up). Although the room we had was a little cramped (last minute booking so not their fault) the bed was super comfortable. Wife and I were pleased overall with our stay. Friendly staff and the views from the bar/restaurant were on point. As for the restaurant, dinner was pretty good. Breakfast however, was mediocre at best and for the price should have been far better.

Upscale and cozy with a great location
We loved the upscale, cozy atmosphere here! Ordinarily, this beautiful hotel would be somewhere that my husband and I would stay in without the kids. But this was a special occasion (graduation vacation) and we chose The Edgewater for the location and music history. It's such a thoughtful amenity to offer guitars and vinyl (we used both). We wanted to rent the bicyles also, but never had the opportunity because nearly everything we did was walkable! The room - a city view suite for the 5 of us - was spacious, which we all appreciated. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My only complaint is that we couldn't enjoy it longer!

not friendly for large business groups
Customer service lacks at the check-in desk, I have stayed here twice and will encourage my employer not to host us at this property again. I would much rather stay at a Marriott or Hyatt where I know the service is consistent. Check-in was July 15th. I have given a detailed review in the hotel manager email survey, so I won't list the details here. We were a very large group, but we did not check-in at the same time. Bar, restaurant, and conference room service were excellent. I hope the manager actually reads my survey, regardless, I still won't stay there again I don't want to be disappointed a third time, and I can get those views at other properties without the saltiness.

Nice hotel, but hard to justify the price
A very unique hotel, but hard to justify the price. Dated on the inside, staff was not particularly friendly. If you're looking for top tier service, you can do better at other upscale Seattle hotels.

Excellent Work Meeting & Stay
Excellent service, beautiful venue and I will absolutely stay here again and host a work meeting here again as well! The staff was amazing and location was perfect!
