Reviews for The Edgewater

Lovely except for the bathroom floor

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 hours ago

We stayed one evening at the Edgewater prior to a cruise. The good: the beds were probably the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in & the fries in the restaurant were the best we've ever eaten. The guitars & record players are a charming touch. But what the hipster happened with the bathroom design?? The entire floor was cobblestone, including inside the shower. Who are the people who thought that was a good idea?! My mom uses a cane and literally needed help to walk into it. We asked about changing to an accessible room, but they were all booked. If that's a consideration for you, definitely check ahead to make sure there's a room with a normal floor.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Edgewater. The waterfront location and views are beautiful, and the hotel has so much character. The team was friendly and welcoming, and the food at Six Seven was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

History and Location on The Water

Had a first floor room with a balcony on the water. Woke up to a cruise ship disembarking out the slider. Great location and history.

The hotel is conveniently located. The room was absolutely amazing with incredible views and a fireplace that added a magical touch at night. The staff is friendly and professional, and the facilities have the most incredible views.
