Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Seattle

Fabulous Experience!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Shout out to Megan at the Front Desk! It was our first visit to FS in downtown Seattle. I am usually a Marriott Ritz Carlton fan, however our one day stay was phenomenal- thanks to Megan. Through Am Ex, we were given an upgrade. Megan provided us with an absolutely breath taking room, the views of this corner room was the best. The soaking tub with provided bath salts was soothing, especially with the water view. This was a special anniversary for us and also it had been trying time with recent health issues. She really made the day special for us. Please let her know that we appreciated her efforts. We will be staying at more FS in the future. Thank you!

Sensational Service and Excellent Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The location of the hotel cannot be better - 1 block from Pikes Market - a block from the Ferris wheel and wharf. The hotel is going through some construction and renovation in the restaurant and spa, but is still accommodating and comfortable. The hotel has done a great job to minimize the guest impact. The construction work was limited and is scheduled to complete at the end of April, 2026. The staff is professional, attentive and so friendly and helpful. Throughout the stay they remembered our names and conversed in casual conversation routinely. The rooms were incredibly clean and within two hours of arriving they sent amenities to the room. The daily room service and turn down service was phenomenal always leaving extra water and coffee. There was little to no noise from adjacent rooms or the street speaking to the quality of the buildings construction. Overall the value is commendable and worth the price.

Hospitality Issues with Current Renovation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We stayed here in Feb 2026, and the hotel is undergoing a renovation until April/May-- it is being very poorly managed, so heads up to those looking to travel there now. The pros were great - terrific staff (from the valet to restaurant servers to front desk) . The hotel is clean, modern, and pretty. The rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable (though the queen beds are really large twin beds). The location is fantastic - you can walk to Pike Place Market, and the views are terrific. The problem was that when we booked the rooms and checked in, the only mention of the renovation was about the spa. We were traveling with an elderly couple, so we wanted a property with a restaurant and bar on site. It was bizarre - they were not letting hotel guests walk into the bar. You had to reserve a spot at the bar which no one could tell us how to do - not the front desk and not even the bar staff. They were also being really strange about seating hotel guests in the restaurant. We felt sorry for the staff who were tasked with this rude behavior. It was 4:30pm on a Saturday, and our group of 5 (three middle-aged adults and an elderly couple) was turned away because the bar couldn't accommodate us. Yet we watched the bartender behind the bar doing nothing but dry glasses in an empty bar with no guests. Getting into the restaurant was more difficult than getting into the hot clubs in NY in my 20s. It was not the level of hospitality you would expect from a Four Seasons. We wanted a nice, quiet bar and restaurant-- that's one of the reasons we booked the hotel. For the staff to mention nothing at check-in or help guests with other accommodations was really disappointing. So beware when considering this hotel for Spring 2026.

Fantastic location. Service overall is great and in line with other 4S properties. Coffee & snacks are available in the lobby. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious.

I’ve just completed a road trip from Colorado to Oregon via Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Washington State. We found generally that the standard of accommodation wasn’t great and that it felt quite expensive for us with our British pounds and they weren’t particularly good value for money in general, I say this to put my review in some context. We really enjoyed our experience at The Four Seasons in Seattle. We didn’t be grudge a single penny that we spent on our stay there and it was actually a highlight of the trip. We liked the design of the hotel. We had a corner room looking over the pool towards Puget sound. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Everything worked the bath was amazing. Probably the biggest BATH that I’ve ever been in my life -almost square and incredibly deep surrounded by marble. It was fantastic. The food at breakfast was delicious even though I generally only had yoghurt, granola and fruit my husband made the most of the variety on offer and was having eggs Benedict with crab, French toast et cetera. The design of the pool was very good in that it was on the fourth floor which meant it wasn’t the sort of area that members of the public would be coming in and using for meetings or having meals. It felt quiet and private, being overlooked only by hotel bedrooms which we really liked. We spent one afternoon just sitting facing the water on the sunbed, and soaking up the September sunshine which was very welcome after our fortnight of driving and constantly changing hotels. I have stayed in quite a lot of four seasons And I can’t quite put my finger on what it was about the Seattle hotel but I think I enjoyed it more than any other four seasons as I’ve been to. I think it’s probably the design aspect and how smart and fresh everything looked compared to older properties perhaps The staff were great and we had had no complaints. Just book it.
