Grand Hyatt Seattle

We've been visiting the GH Seattle for the past twenty years. Location is perfect for walking to area attractions. Love early morning sessions at the fitness center and the steam room. So much to do in terms of sightseeing and dining in the immediate vicinity. Enjoy the best of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer

We love the Grand Hyatt. The location is perfect; the rooms are nice. The fitness center and sauna/steam room is great. The hotel is only 2 blocks away from the Westlake Center Link station, which connects to/from the airport. The Pike Place market is less than a 10 minutes' walk away from the hotel. A ruth Chris is also located inside the hotel.

While the hotel itself is lovely they are currently working on two of the elevators. I did not receive any warning during booking, prior to arrival, or during check in. It took 20 minutes from walking out of my hotel room to arrive on the ground floor. The other day I took the stairs down 20 flights to avoid waiting even longer.

The hotel is well located, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The elevators tend to break down, which is quite annoying. The front desk staff is very unfriendly. This must be one of the worst Hyatts I have stayed at anywhere in the world.

Location and accesibility to restaurants, pike mkt,movie theater,convention center and the space neddle. I like the variation of food options near the hotel.
