My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Motif in Seattle while in town for a funeral. Unfortunately, our initial experience fell short, setting an uneasy tone for our stay. Upon entering, we were met with what appeared to be a security desk, staffed by an unsmiling and unwelcoming individual. This was a disappointing first impression. The negative trend continued at the check-in desk, where the staff member ignored us until my husband greeted her. Her response, "Yeah I see you I'm just finishing a message here," was dismissive and unprofessional. We were also charged an early check-in fee, a practice I've rarely encountered, and the manner in which it was presented felt unnecessarily off-putting. Furthermore, the hotel charged us the full amount of our stay upfront, rather than holding a smaller amount for incidentals. This made me, a Hilton Honors member, feel as though I was viewed as untrustworthy. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had a fresh appearance overall, though some of the hard surfaces showed wear. I appreciated the large refillable soap dispensers and the in-room K-cup coffee maker. However, despite being a king room intended for two guests, it felt better suited for a single convention attendee. The room lacked adequate seating for two people to comfortably enjoy a meal, which was a drawback as we would have liked to order room service. Overall, our stay at the Hilton Motif was adequate. However, the negative first impressions significantly impacted our experience and left me feeling on edge throughout our visit.

Just didn't seem comfortable. Charged me twice but eventually fixed it. Staff good and the front desk was very good. However it seems very much like the management is prioritizing fees over service and experience (from earlier review) and I strongly agree with this. The conditions of the vouchers was just weird and misleading, fees were everywhere. No pool, few amenities for the price/ location. Restaurant/ lounge was nice but closed way to early, they were shuffling people out at 11:00 even those they had just served. Room - pillows smelled strange and made it hard to sleep. When we got there things missing in the room - sheets, blankets and towels, it was like we were the ones doing the checklist.

This was my 5th time staying at the Hilton Motif. Once a go-to in Seattle that I recommended to others, but now it seems management is prioritizing fees over service and experience. This was the first time they charged for an early check-in ($100 plus taxes and fees), and they offered a free upgrade (they said as a perk for being HHonors gold) that they ultimately charged me for. I called to request that they adjust the price to the rate I booked at, but the Hilton rep first denied the price increase, later insisted that this was the cost for the upgrade, and ultimately refused to correct the folio. Disappointing experience.

Wonderful stay. Room was clean and well appointed. Excellent value right in the heart of downtown Seattle. Special shout out to Travis, Front Desk agent who was very responsive and helpful with suggestions regarding Motif’s dining outlet and amenities, parking, and things to do close by. Looking forward to our next visit and staying here again on our next visit! Thank you Travis & Motif team!!

Stayed the at the Hilton Motif and had the pleasure of attending the Frolik resturaunt for breakfast. I ordered the Frolik omelett. It was excellently cooked Possibly the best omelett I have had ( I'm particular about Hilton Hotel breakfasts) I was told Cystella Is the chef 3/9/2025. Additionally Stephen our waiter was exceptionally kind, friendly and sociable making the experience a special on.
