Hotel 1000 Seattle

We recently were in Seattle for a conference and had an additional night to enjoy downtown Seattle - Hotel 1000 was a great choice in a perfect location. Heather and Macaria were especially pleasant and helped make our stay extra special! The view of the harbor was amazing and the soaking tub was perfect after a day of walking around the nearby waterfront and public market. 10 out of 10!

This is a great hotel which is modern and beautifully appointed. The location could not be better for access to downtown seattle sites. The staff are topnotch!

Overall, I was disappointed with my stay. Nothing horrible occurred but I expected more from a Michelin Key property. The biggest disappointment was a lack of room service. Any luxury hotel needs to offer a full room service menu. I booked via Amex FHR and did not receive a room upgrade. I know this is not guaranteed, but my “success” rate is about 75%. The credits I was entitled to through FHR were not applied correctly, necessitating a lot or back and forth during checkout. Also, as eluded to in other posts, they removed the $100 dining credit and replaced it with a spa credit of $200. I would prefer the dining credit. The bathroom sink in our room was leaking. The room was otherwise quite nice. Kudos for installing clear, simple light controls which is often not the case in newer hotels. The TV in the room should be larger and on a swivel so guests can watch from the sitting area. The valet and bell staff need to be more attentive and proactive in helping guests with their luggage. The location is good, just a couple blocks from the the waterfront. This could be a great hotel if the above issues are addressed. Note: I filled out a survey sent by the hotel and listed the same concerns. To his credit, the manager reached out to me and seemed genuinely interested in fixing the issues I brought up.

You can skip this hotel. Price is not in line with the experience. Restaurant and bar are below average. The shower handle fell off when i went to start my shower and when reported to the front desk they seemed annoyed at having to deal with the problem.

A nice hotel in a good location! As a hyatt globalist I'm glad this hotel joined hyatt. My only complaint was the breakfast credit was only $30 which wasn't enough for coffee and an entrée. The food was excellent, and service all around was as well.
