Good location; dicey accounting

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The room was smaller than listed at 400 sf and felt cramped but bed was comfortable. The location is fairly convenient to transit. Know that you cannot make tea with nespresso and they will charge for a kettle. My real issue is trying to get the billing correct and it’s taking forever to get a credit back for two extra nights of valet parking. Never used when we checked out early for an emergency. Also, we were charged more at the hotel for valet parking, $65 per night, versus the $55 per night quoted when we booked through Delta. It’s taken multiple phone calls to get the credit back for the extra night. We did not stay because of family emergency., that finally went through, but still waiting on two nights, not used of valet parking to be credited back

Elegant with great service

Lovely and clean accommodations! The 2 queen room was spacious, had windows with a pretty tree as the view, a dressing/closet area and a nice sitting area with tv. Connected to the cozy lobby with a huge fireplace, is the Lola restaurant (which was SO GOOD we ate there twice in a day). In room coffee and a tea service upon request made this stay a great location for catching up with an old friend as we travelled together.

Simply Luxurious

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Modern esthetically pleasing decor. Super clean and spacious room. One of the most comfortable luxurious bedding and sleep experiences I've had in a hotel. No buffet breakfast, but Nepresso machine in the room.Lola restaurant attached to the Hotel and Dahlia Bakery across the road were excellent alternatives. ALL the hotel staff provided great customer service. Hotel parking is $55 + $5 tax +valet tip. Parked a block behind the hotel on 5th St at the Digital Realty covered garage for $30 / night. Hotel is 4 blocks down to Pike Market (beware - steep hills to walk back up though)

Welcoming Hotel

Very welcoming hotel. Accommodated our very early check in without issue. Room was spacious and comfortable. Good, central location. Lovely bakery across the road for breakfast.

not so bad but nothing good to say

it just didnt work for me. It's an old building and the room is simple. no room service. first thing was - i put my laptop on the desk and realised there was no chair to sit on - called down and they brought me one, ok. when i got back after dinner to shower, that didnt work either - i couldnt switch the tap to the shower no matter which way i turned the dial. its not so easy to wash your hair in the bathtub. The last impression was the weirdest though, i had 2 bags and an uber. the door person helped me roll my bags to the back of the uber, then knocked on the uber drivers door to ask him to come out and help load the bags. I guess there was some miscom cos the driver thought the guy was going to laod them but the guy just stood there and waited on the driver, who didnt come out. Anyways, in the end the driver came and loaded but i thot the whole thing was strange. only saving grace was Lily at the front desk - she was great! I had rsvns for the weekend on my way back but cancelled them right away - will try the westin
