Good stay, with a few issues!
We had a 3 night stay at the Andra before we went to Yellowstone NP. Arrived via the light rail, which was fairly easy to do & only $3pp & about a 5min walk. The hotel is very nice, but limited public area to have a rest, but all staff were very welcoming & door guys always greeted & opened the doors. We had a Junior Suite on the 10th floor, very nice modern room, but was expecting a little bit more….no fridge, no complimentary water & tea/coffee wasn’t replenished. There is no sound proofing, so can be noisy. I really liked the hair/makeup area, you often find nowhere to sit in hotels to get ready! We had dogs barking for 2 nights when we returned in the evenings, it was mentioned on check out, you could tell the reception guy knew as soon as it was said, but that was it, fell on deaf ears! Lastly the Andra is in a good location for the waterfront area, the Westlake centre for train/monorail etc Lola next door is good for a sit down breakfast & Dahlia bakery across the road for a quick takeaway style.

From checking in, to our room the whole experience was underwhelming. The reception was disinterested and the room very tired. The adjoining restaurant was lacking in any atmosphere and the food quite horrible. Why it was recommended to us by Audley Travel is a mystery!

Great Hotel, Perfect Location (Upgrade the Room if you Can)
We had a great stay at Hotel Ändra and would definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our visit, and the location is hard to beat. We stayed on the 10th floor in a Luxury King and I’d definitely recommend the upgrade if you get the offer. The room was spacious (kind of a mini suite), comfortable and really nicely done. I’ve included a photo of the room as well as the lobby, which has a cool, comfortable boutique feel. One of the best things about the hotel is how much of Seattle you can see without needing a car. We walked to Pike Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, Olympic Sculpture Park, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and even our whale-watching departure (suggest you take the one out of pier 69). It made exploring the city really easy. There are also some great restaurants right around the hotel. We tried Lola, Serious Pie and Neb, and enjoyed all three. Neb was the standout for us probably some of the best Italian food we’ve had in a long time. Between the location, the room and the staff, Hotel Ändra is a great choice for our Seattle stay. We’d happily come back.

Good value stay
Good location, nice room (Premier corner suite) although bathroom very compact, service ok (but not as friendly as received elsewhere on the trip)

Good location; dicey accounting
The room was smaller than listed at 400 sf and felt cramped but bed was comfortable. The location is fairly convenient to transit. Know that you cannot make tea with nespresso and they will charge for a kettle. My real issue is trying to get the billing correct and it’s taking forever to get a credit back for two extra nights of valet parking. Never used when we checked out early for an emergency. Also, we were charged more at the hotel for valet parking, $65 per night, versus the $55 per night quoted when we booked through Delta. It’s taken multiple phone calls to get the credit back for the extra night. We did not stay because of family emergency., that finally went through, but still waiting on two nights, not used of valet parking to be credited back
