Staying at 1 Hotel Seattle has been nothing short of magical ✨ The entire team here is truly next level — so friendly, so kind, and constantly going above + beyond in the sweetest ways. From little moments (like me eating strawberries in the lobby and someone noticing I needed a bowl for compost 🥹🍓) to the big ones (birthday surprises, restaurant recs, and the BEST cocktails ever), they made me feel so cared for every single day. Special shoutouts because they honestly deserve ALL the flowers 💐: • Monica gave us the most amazing recommendations and has been so sweet + welcoming from the start. • Steven makes the best cocktails — seriously such a vibe behind the bar 🍸. • Ellen kept us laughing and entertained, such a gem of a human 💕. • Shay put us on to the best restaurants (including the dim sum spot of my dreams!) and had the best recs. • Gean went above + beyond setting up the most gorgeous birthday surprise for my bestie — it was breathtaking 🎉. • Okar, Nacho, and Dayana were all SO amazing, so warm, so fun, and just made every interaction feel special. • Karol has been such a sweetheart and always so thoughtful 💖. • Carlos is an absolute gentleman — he took such good care of us and made sure we always felt looked after 🙏. On top of all that — the food is delicious, the drinks are perfection, the coffee keeps me alive, and the overall vibe is just chef’s kiss 🌿✨ If you’re ever in Seattle, you HAVE to stay here. This hotel doesn’t just give you a place to sleep, it gives you an experience you’ll never forget. Mahalo nui loa 🌺

I cannot say enough about this hotel! When we first arrived, the most personable and helpful person named Shae greeted us and made us instantly excited about our stay, and also gave us great dish recommendations for La Loba. The lobby is just breathtaking, especially the wall going up the stairs with a mural of Mt. Rainier made entirely of living greenery. The fresh fruit and water put out every morning in the lobby was a nice touch! Once in our room we were thrilled how they had personalized the TV screen with my name (nice touch!). The room was perfect; clean, eco friendly, and spacious. The view of the Space Needle was fantastic! The complimentary lotion smelled AMAZING and we instantly became obsessed with all the bath products. Every time we left the hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful. We were even given a ride to Pikes Market in their hotel vehicle. The manager, Gene, was also excellent, giving us info on the other 1 Hotel locations, and even gave us a tour of one of their suites since I am returning in August. Another thing we loved about this hotel is how close Whole Foods was located. We were able to get extra drinks and snacks to keep in our room. It is also fairly close to many shops and is walkable to numerous restaurants too. I didn't partake in the free yoga they provide with Dryp yoga studio, but my daughter who lives in Seattle is a member there and LOVES their yoga classes. There was a yoga mat and a yoga block in our room to use if we had participated. I am coming back in a week and staying at 1 Hotel again, and would not have considered trying a different hotel when I know this one is fantastic!

Outstanding service and beautiful hotel and rooms. Staff exceeded expectations and bar and food was amazing. Filtered drinking water on tap in the bathrooms and eco friendly all around. Family and I really enjoyed our stay. We will be back for sure.

The customer service, organization, and responsiveness of this hotel is terrible. I terribly miss the Pan Pacific that this hotel has replaced. We stayed for two nights spending thousands of dollars. My son left his Apple Watch in the room, which we realized 10 min after leaving but were catching a flight. I immediately called and they recovered my watch and assured they’d mail it back. Easy, right? For some reason not with this hotel. I get a call back that I have to go online and fill out a report so they can recover the item and I then can pay for shipping. Okay, little off putting considering a paid almost $2k for two days, but whatever I’ll pay for the $7 shipping. Well then I get an email back that they don’t have my item. I call several times, the staff is unhelpful and I have unreturned yet promised calls from managers. Finally get through, they have my item (literally sitting right in front of them) but there was a problem with the reporting process so I have to go back to fill out a second one so I can pay for shipping. I do that again with the promise I will get an email immediately to pay for shipping. Several days again now and it’s the same thing. The service and organization is worse than a best western. I cannot understand why they don’t just mail back my damn watch. It’s been almost a month and this 5 star hotel cannot figure it out. For the price, I would absolutely avoid this hotel - stay at the Fairmont or Four Seasons in Seattle over the 1 Hotel. I loved the Pan Pacific due mainly to their amazing customer service. 1 Hotel cannot compete at all. They are unresponsive and overwhelmingly incompetent, which at this point appears to be costing me a brand new Apple Watch that they cannot figure out how to put in the mail. Highly encourage staying away from this place.

This hotel opened in May, and it has many problems. The elevators were broken during our visit, which last four nights. There are apparently on two guest elevators, one staff elevator, and during our entire stay the guest and staff elevator were broken causing exceptionally long wait times. We booked two King rooms and asked for a roll away for our kids. The front desk promised a call back, but they didn’t call. After a second trip to the desk, we learned there are very few roll aways on the property and none was available. We were told to return the second day to arrange for a room change to two double beds. When I went to the front desk that day, that person told me I should check online. It took an entire day and multiple trips to the front desk to get a room change then, when we checked out, we weren’t credited with our American Express meal credits. It took a significant amount of time to remedy that and get a refund since I had already been charged over $200. I love the hotel one in San Francisco. This property is not of the same standard.
