convenient location
The best thing about this hotel is the location: it's only a block away from Pike Place Market and a short walk from the lightrail/monorail stations. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. I don't like that there's no mini fridge or microwave in the room, and my view from the third floor was terrible. If you're going to stay here, request a higher floor for sure.

Excellent Hotel
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The State Hotel in Seattle! The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from Pike Place Market, making it incredibly convenient to explore one of the city’s most iconic spots. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a modern yet welcoming feel. My room had a stunning view that made every morning and evening special. The staff and Columbia Hospitality went above and beyond. One of the highlights was definitely the restaurant—delicious food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, style, and an unbeatable location, The State Hotel is a perfect choice. I would absolutely stay here again!

Best kept secret in Seattle
Wow what an excellent find . The State Hotel is a gem. The location , the customer service , the parking , the extra special touches all combined to make our stay perfect .

The little details made a difference and the staff if amazing.
The little details made a difference! Everything was amazing from the robes, to the bluetooth speaker in the room, the hot water pot for coffee, the cute little fridge. The beds were clean and comfortable and the blackout curtains were great. Every staff member that we interacted with, at the front desk, bar and restaurant was personable and looked like they enjoyed their job and took care of us better than we expected. We will return to The State Hotel next time we are in Seattle.
