Room noise that made it hard to sleep, malfunctioning AC, and unexpected charges that staff refused to adjust. Despite me asking those charges when booking.

I stayed here for three nights , and the experience was far below expectations. From the start, there were issues. On day one, the elevator broke down, which set the tone for the rest of the stay. The room itself was extremely small, so small that it was difficult to even pull the chair out and sit at the desk to work comfortably for what was a business trip. The problems didn’t stop there. The air conditioning either didn’t function properly or made a constant water-like noise that never really stopped. On top of that, I was woken up around 4 AM every morning due to loud disturbances, making it hard to get proper rest. I did ask about changing rooms after checking in early, but was told there were no available options. That’s difficult to believe unless every comparable room was already occupied, and it was frustrating that no effort seemed to be made to improve the situation. Overall, this stay was a far cry from what I expected. Between the room size, noise issues, and lack of resolution, the experience was honestly pretty unbelievable. I would not choose to stay here again and will instead look for other properties within the Hyatt brand.

The hotel is right in the heart of Seattle, just footsteps away from Pike Place Market. The hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and eager to please. The hotel rooms were clean and the views were amazing. I highly recommend!

I absolutely love the Thompson. Everything is clean and modern and the food is exceptional. Having stayed at the W recently I was so disappointed. It felt like a cheap under 18 club and the food was terrible. The Thompson goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and everything is new and fresh and updated.

My wife and I just had our first night away since our baby was born, so the bar for this stay was high. Dylan delivered. From the moment I reached out, he was proactive, personal, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the right room for the occasion. The view was stunning and the room was perfect. What sets Dylan apart isn't just the hospitality. It's that he actually listens and follows through. That's rare even at top tier hotels, and I've stayed at most of them as a Hyatt Globalist. This wasn't a one off either. He previously took care of my brother in law for a night out in Seattle, and that person, not easily impressed, called it the best hotel experience he's ever had. If you're staying at the Thompson Seattle, reach out to Dylan directly. You won't regret it.
