Thompson Seattle

Beautiful hotel with a lovely staff. We had a late check-in, and the evening staff were friendly and made check-in a breeze. We had room 1109 it faced the water, the bed was very comfortable, it was quiet and the amenities were great.

My stay was short but wonderful. Rooms are clean, view is great, location is just minutes away from Pike Place. Special shoutout to Abbie at front desk for going above and beyond - accommodating an unexpected early checkout, storing luggage and volunteering to retrieve it as soon as she saw us, recognizing us by face. Made us want to come back again at the next opportunity. Everyone else at the front desk and concierge was also delightful, helpful, and professional.

We had a wonderful stay at the Thompson Seattle and would absolutely stay here again. The location really could not be better, directly across from Pike Place Market and within easy walking distance of so much of downtown Seattle. We walked everywhere and always felt safe and comfortable. Seattle also seems to have made noticeable progress cleaning up some of the issues we remembered from previous visits. There are still a few areas with visible homelessness, but overall we thought downtown looked and felt considerably better than it had in the past. I’m a World of Hyatt Globalist and the hotel did a great job recognizing my status. We were upgraded to a King Water View Deluxe room, which was fantastic. The huge wall of windows gave us beautiful views over the water, Pike Place Market and the Seattle Great Wheel. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable and everything worked perfectly. The front desk staff was terrific from beginning to end. They reached out before our arrival to see if we needed anything, acknowledged my Globalist status and took great care of us throughout the stay. The glasses of champagne and delicious chocolate chip cookies were a really nice welcome. We also spent an evening at The Nest, the hotel’s rooftop bar, and loved it. The views over Elliott Bay are beautiful, especially in the evening. We sat outside having drinks and ended up talking with people from all over the world. Everyone was having a great time and the service was friendly and relaxed. It was one of those unexpectedly fun evenings that becomes part of the memory of a trip. One of the real highlights, though, was breakfast at Conversation. We enjoyed breakfast as part of my Globalist benefit, and Julia, our server, was phenomenal. She was incredibly friendly, easygoing and helpful with suggestions. She recommended some of their specialty coffees, including the Orange Honey Blossom Latte, which was fantastic. The current menu also has Cardamom Rose and Brown Sugar Rosemary lattes. I couldn’t remember the exact name of the other one we had, but both were memorable. We also used the hotel’s valet parking with in and out privileges and found it well worth it. Having the car brought around when we needed it was quick and easy, and we didn’t have to think about parking for the rest of the stay. Overall, just a wonderful experience. Great room, genuinely friendly service, excellent breakfast, beautiful rooftop bar and an absolutely fantastic location. I really can’t say enough about the location. We would happily stay at the Thompson Seattle again.

I had a wonderful experience at the Thompson Seattle during a recent business meeting. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful amenities throughout the hotel. My room was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well-maintained. One of my favorite features was the hardwood flooring, which I greatly prefer over carpet and which made the room feel fresh and inviting. I also appreciated the black slippers and plush robe provided for guest use, which added a nice touch of comfort. The bed was immaculate and comfortable, and I appreciated having complimentary bottled water available, along with additional water and snacks for purchase. While I would have loved a more direct view, I was still able to catch a glimpse of the ocean from my room by looking to the right, which was a pleasant bonus. I was visiting for a business meeting, and the meeting experience exceeded my expectations. The meeting space felt both intimate and spacious, creating a comfortable environment for collaboration. There was an ample supply of water and tea available throughout the day, which was greatly appreciated. The food was truly outstanding. Everything tasted fresh, healthy, and thoughtfully prepared. The halibut was a standout dish, and the dessert selections were equally impressive. It's rare to find meeting and conference food that feels both nutritious and delicious, but the culinary team delivered on both. Overall, the Thompson Seattle provided an excellent experience with comfortable accommodations, exceptional food, and welcoming meeting facilities. I would gladly stay here again and would highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers visiting Seattle.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel but really want to highlight one employee, Abbie, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe. Abbie called our rooms to make sure we had all gotten in safely late in the evening after seeing some nonguests enter the elevator with us. It was really kind and smart of her to do so and we were so thankful!
