Thompson Seattle

We had a fantastic stay at the Thompson Seattle and will definitely be back. The staff truly set this hotel apart. Nabil and Halit at the front desk were incredibly warm, understanding, and accommodating — the kind of service that anticipates problems before they arise rather than just reacting to them. We did run into an AC issue in our first room. When I called the front desk, an engineer came promptly to investigate, but it turned out the issue was a broader building problem rather than something isolated to our room. The manager personally stopped by to apologize for the inconvenience, moved us to a better room with working AC, and even comped our meal at the restaurant — a genuinely thoughtful recovery. Location-wise, you can't beat it — the hotel is close to all the major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The property itself is stylish and modern, with a great overall ambiance. The on-site restaurant was a highlight too: a strong menu selection, delicious food, and quick, attentive service. Altogether, a hotel that combines great design with genuinely caring staff. We have a late travel day and got to the restaurant at 9, hungry and tired. We had the pleasure of having Oscar as our Server and he changed our whole day. Oscar wasn’t just helpful with menu information, he rushed our order out to us because he knew we were wiped out. He was so funny, kind, and conversational, we will come back to the Thompson to see Oscar every time we come to Seattle. Thank you Oscar for turning our trip around and being such an amazing server! Oh, the Chicken Sandwich was excellent too, and not only because I was ravenous!! We stay at then Thompson every time we are in Seattle, moments like this are exactly why.

The hotel and experience was top notch with a great location by the market. So the property / experience was good . But was tainted by even more nonsense city taxes on the way out the door.

Fantastic location. Room with a view and one of the best bars in Seattle. The staff consistently tries to make your experience stand out and it shows. Breakfast is top notch and honestly the locally sources bacon steals the show.

The location of the hotel could not be better! We loved being across the street from Pike Place Market and so close to the waterfront and countless restaurants and shopping. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, remembering my 6-year-old's name and being friendly and kind throughout our stay.
