Reviews for W Seattle

Convenient location for a busy stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I stayed at this hotel in May for business reasons and overall had a decent experience. Some brief pros and cons below. I'd be overall happy to stay again. Pros: - convenient location - allowed a later checkout - spacious room Cons: - there was a gym but no sauna, which is something that's always nice - had a few bottles of water for free in the hotel room but also had a few bottles marked $5. Just felt a little tacky - very long room, so configuration was a little odd - check-in took awhile

Great hotel and centrally located to many attractions.

Quick one day trip to Seattle prior to heading north to Vancouver and selected the W Hotel based on price and location. I have never stayed at a W Hotel. We arrived on an 8 am flight and used the light rail system to get to downtown and and used the Symphony station. it was 2 blocks from the hotel and cost $3 per person. Light rail for the win. We arrived at the hotel shortly after 9 am and our upgraded room wasn't available and the front desk staff assured us the room was worth the wait. The staff shared some great suggestions for brunch and we set out to explore. The hotel texted once the room was ready. The hotel was amazing and the upgraded room was worth the wait. The bed was comfortable and the location was central and within walking distance for a lot of attractions. I would 100% stay at the W again.

Great Stay!!

The hotel was beautiful and historic. The staff was so personable and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We loved Drew, Ian, and Hannah at the Front Desk and enjoyed Nick at the bar! Great recommendations from all. Great city!!!

Great Service!

The service at the W in Seattle is second to none. Every single staff person welcomes you with a smile and is ready to help with whatever you may need. I'd like to make a special shout out to Tyler for going above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay and everything I needed.

Good hotel in Seattle

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Nice hotel near waterfront & Pikes Market. Those areas are down a long, steep hill, so be aware! There was a $28 fee at checkin but can be used toward food & bar, also includes free tickets for the ferris wheel at the waterfront. The room was nice & spacious. Free coffee in lobby in morning (was avail at 6am). The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant for dinner but plenty of options nearby. The hotel didn’t have a warm vibe to us but that’s just our opinion. Otherwise, decent place to stay in downtown Seattle.
