Amara is a gem among the Sedona hotels. Perhaps you've heard about Sedona's stunning Red Rocks-they are a tad bit famous (for good reason). The scenery here is almost impossibly beautiful, as if an artist made the entire horizon his canvas. Fortunately for all who visit, the Red Rocks are very real and provide the stunning backdrop for our world-class boutique hotel, Amara Resort.

Gorgeous property and top-caliber service! We were welcomed with a plate of macarons in our room upon arrival which was a nice touch. Location is prime on the main drag yet still tucked away and secluded. The pool and outdoor common areas are ideal with views of the surrounding red rocks, comfy cabanas (first come basis), and an excellent pool-side bartender extraordinaire! Pool time after a long day of hiking was a fun time indeed. Spa services were wonderful and the ladies in the spa shop were friendly and informative! This property is a gem with 5 star service to match. We would 100% come back next time we’re in town!

the restaurant is top notch! everything was delicious from the kitchen! the margaritas were so-so. the entire place is beautiful and clean and the staff is very friendly. Loved the creek running behind the resort and how close it is to the main Sedona shops with still being secluded and quiet!

Amara was quite a resort. From the staff to the Pool and dining at Salt Rock, we had a memorable stay and look forward to returning!

Great stay for our family of 4. Two teens. Very close to the hustle of downtown Sedona. Valet only but they offer to drive you down the large hill in a golf cart if you don't want to take your car out. We loved the pool area with beautiful views of the red rocks in the background. The tiki bar on site of the pool was a plus. We didn't like that they didn't have an ice maker or microwaves in the room. You were to contact concierge for both. We ended up not needing, but it's nice to have on hand. Only one device can use the wifi. We'd stay again HOWEVER. It's a beautiful property and nice location!
