We hosted our wedding at Amara and it was an increadible experience. We had spent a weekend there in the past and the views from the property are amazing. Shayla and the event staff were second to none and that includes everyone from the wait staff, bartenders, housekeeping, valet, and front desk. They all went above and beyond are just naturally friendly people. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone that wants a relaxing weekend in this amazing location.

Wonderful spa. I had the Winds of Change with Amy. One of the best massages I have ever had. Love the Chakras at the start of the massage. She was wonderful. Explained everything!! The relaxation lounge is clean and offers tea, water and snacks.

This place isn’t worth the hefty price tag. Basic room with a king bed. I will say the bed was comfortable. However, the window shade was stuck midway and couldn’t be moved. We had to put something over it to sleep. The area by the lake is really small and awkward if other ppl are there . There’s a small central area where the restaurant overlooks the lawn and pool. It felt incredibly small even for a Tuesday. There’s nothing else worth mentioning. Overall, I feel the nightly rate should be way lower.
