Amara Resort and Spa

This resort was very nice and located down the hill. It’s a bit of a hike up and down the driveway but they have golf carts and will take you up and there is plenty of shopping and eating very close by. The pool was very cold so we weren’t able to enjoy it like we thought we would be able to, which was a bummer because the view was spectacular. The restaurant and bar was great, and the smash burger was my husband’s favorite meal. Friday night there was a man with a telescope in the courtyard and we saw the moon in a way we never had before, that was a nice touch to finish up our awesome meal. I would definitely come back to this place!

Stayed here for Labor Day weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we had the best time! The staff was amazing (concierge, front desk, valet, bartenders, restaurant, housekeeping—everyone!), The pool was gorgeous with stunning views, and everything was super clean and well kept. Great food, great drinks, and an overall incredible stay. Highly recommend Amara Resort—we’ll definitely be back! The price was good too compared to the more expensive resorts in the area.

Went on a work trip. The rooms were lovely, the food was delicious. Most of the food we ate was catered by the hotel. We also used the shuttle, which was helpful, but be sure to get good information on when and where to pick it up.
