This property is exceptional!! The grounds are gorgeous and we loved the creek side restaurant. The view from Duck Pond pool area was breathtaking and therapeutic. The resort staff were incredibly accommodating and provided outstanding service. This is resort is hands down one of the best I have ever stayed at.

L’ Auberge is surviving on a reputation built years ago but no longer applicable. The facilities are old and tired, with much deferred maintenance. Our cottage was $2k per night, but had stained furniture, dirty grout joins in a shower that smelled moldy, cracked tile floors, an outdoor shower that would not drain, damaged door casings and baseboards, a cracked entry door with daylight through the cracks, sporadic wi-fi service…just overall disappointing. The Cress at Oak Creek restaurant is hugely disappointing and certainly does not measure up to the other excellent options in Town. Would highly encourage selecting other options for both accommodations and dining. Sorry, L’ Auberge may have been a top 5 selection in years gone by, but not in its current state.

I visited Sedona for the first time this Monday. I was originally booked at the Amara with a friend, and while the check-in process was lovely, the room just didn't quite align with my personal taste. Knowing I might need a change of scenery, I walked next door to L’Auberge de Sedona, a property I had previously researched. The moment I stepped onto the grounds, the atmosphere shifted. The cozy cottages and upscale ambiance felt immediately more comfortable. At the front desk, I was met by Celene, who handled my unique situation with incredible grace. Although a room tour wasn't available at that moment, she kindly offered me a pool key so I could experience the property's amenities first-hand. That "feeling" made all the difference. I decided then and there to reserve a room, even though it meant walking away from (and forfeiting my money paid for Amara) the reservation next door. It turned out to be the best decision of the trip. As someone who frequents the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage, I have very specific standards for a getaway: Tranquility (especially at the pool) Ease of access Exemplary service I look for staff who truly anticipate a guest's needs, and I found that exact level of care here. Celene and Milena at the front desk were instrumental in making this trip a success. Even though L’Auberge is three times the distance of my usual "staple" hotel, the quality of rest and recovery I experienced made the journey completely worth it. I will absolutely be back.

I stayed at the Cliffs and it was NOT worth the $1500+ two night stay. It was like a remodeled motel and secluded from the main area - even the parking was separated. I asked for a quiet peaceful room due to being a fire victim in LA but got a bottom floor with people I heard above me all night. It was supposed to be my splurge solo vacation and it couldn’t have been more disappointing.

As others have mentioned, this property sits on a beautiful landscape and well maintained. The rooms are great (we stayed in the cottage) and the amenities, touches and overall status are great. We truly enjoy the serene environment and took advantage of the sessions offered by the hotel (meditation and sound healing). The pool (Duck Pond) was truly a perfect spot to relax, enjoy the view and sip on your drink. The hotel and rooms and common areas (including the greek-side restaurant) is well-maintained, clean and all have the luxury touches you'd expect from a property like this. The only minor complaint I have is regarding the busy lines at the front desk, bar, and almost every where else. You'd have to wait (sometimes for more than a few minutes) to order, get server attention, find the front desk person etc. Staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. No self-parking on site, so valet is the only option for around $35 / night.
