Given room at end of a motel line annex in town

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 12 hours ago

The original property is beautiful - there is a large annex that sits off a back parking lot in town that requires a shuttle thru town to the original resort, or a winding long path with many, many stairs (after walking along a public larking area). So confirm your lodging placement before booking if a peaceful setting and convenience to amenities is important to you.

Beautiful views from the room and the pool is outstanding!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The rooms are nice and small, very new and are meeting a good level of comfort. The views are stunning from the balcony. The access to the rooms is from an open public parking lot which makes it a bit strange regarding security. But after all you’re in Sedona so I guess it’s all safe. The valet service in the upper part wasn’t working , most of the times there was no one at the valet which was annoying because you had to wait for 10 min for someone to show up. It happened 4 times in a stay of 4 nights. They have a beautiful pool called Duck Pont, with an amazing team - fantastic bar service and the views from there are out of this world! The restaurant Cress on Oak Creek is beautiful and romantic! Definitely worth even if you’re not staying at L’auberge.

The best part of the hotel closes early.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Pool amenities close early so you don’t get to enjoy it until 6pm as they state when you first arrive. It’s a long hike up to the pool and on more than one occasion we would go up to have a drink and enjoy an appetizer while looking at the gorgeous view and the five employees up there would be shutting down while the sun was out. No weather. When we asked why we were told a manager would get back to us. They never did. Guest services is tough to get a hold of so you usually have to walk all the way to the lobby to get someone to help you. Restaurant was amazing. Impeccable service and food.
