The Sedona landscape invites endless discovery. And The Wilde has its own special way of opening your eyes. Feel it as you relax poolside or by our fire pits in the Grove gardens, where the night sky opens before you. Absorb the feeling as you admire the majesty of Thunder Mountain from the Rangeview Rooftop patio, or experience it at The Wilde Haven Spa, as you unwind after an exhilarating day on the trails. Our spirit comes through in the special details throughout the property, but above all, in our local perspective. Every day, we continue to explore and find new ways to marvel at our surroundings. We’re here to swap stories, share our favorite places or just connect with you as we pour you a glass of wine at Rascal; our new feature restaurant by Chef Mercer Mohr. We’ll see you out here in The Wilde.

I went for a few nights in Nov '25 for a friends' trip. In researching hotels, I found that 5-star hotels are priced as if Sedona is Italy.... I'm simply not going to pay $1200 a night for Arizona. So I looked one step down, and The Wilde is a great choice. It has very nice grounds, amenities, views, a good location, plenty of parking, a spa, a good restaurant, and an excellent pool bar. I'd say the only negative is that at most places in the country, this would be $100+ cheaper per night for what you get, but that's ok, you just have to accept that you're paying a premium for it being Sedona and the gorgeous scenery and nature that you're in. I'd note that this place is really great for people who are going to use the pool and beautiful grounds a bit. The firepit area was so nice at night to relax and chat. If you're going to be off the property doing outdoorsy things all day every day, you're not really going to take advantage of this place. 5++++ stars to Colin, who was working the pool bar when we were there one afternoon. He was spectacular at customer service, chatting with people about what flavors they felt like for their mocktails or drinks. Give him a promotion! :)

Overall meh. The front office staff not overly helpful. No explanation on the resort fee upfront. Did not get the folio either. Only to find out by charges on my credit card later.

A friend and I splurged on a room at The Wilde for four nights, wanting to have a special place to stay during our trip here. It was not at all worth the price. The hotel buildings are on par with a Motel 6 or Best Western off the freeway. The rooms themselves are tacky and surprisingly cheaply designed. The grounds are beautiful. When charging over $400/night for a hotel room, the customer service should be impeccable. The front desk staff were excellent, and everyone else has been surprisingly untrained in client relationships. We walked into the spa to check out their services, all excited to be here and curious what they offered. The dour, humorless man behind the counter didn’t greet us, and when I asked for a menu, he handed me a weathered copy and said, “we have very limited availability.” We went to the restaurant, Rascals, to get coffee. We waited ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, even though three people were waiting tables with few customers. A guy finally came over and we told him we would just like some coffees to go. He said there was no milk (despite being directly across the street from a Safeway) and that’s “just how it is.” Every encounter with customer-facing staff has been like that. Totally oblivious to the art of hospitality and inattentive to detail. We will never stay here again, and will be letting others know what The Wilde is like. The prices do not reflect the quality of the amenities.

Resort was fabulous. Rooms clean. Spa was peaceful and appt was on time. A little pricey but it’s a resort. Shower/Bathtub set up slightly weird but maybe it’s common out in Arizona.
