Raffles Sentosa Singapore

We stayed at Raffles Sentosa on 8–9 August 2026, paying over SGD 2,000 per night. On arrival, we followed the doorman's instructions and left our car at the designated spot at the entrance for the hotel's valet team to take over. After checking out, we found scratches and a dent on the right-side door. What followed has been the most disappointing service experience we have had at any luxury hotel. Communication: We reported the damage immediately and were told on 10 August that an investigation was underway. We then heard nothing for over a week. Calls and WhatsApp messages went unanswered. Every update we received came only after we chased. We sent two formal written complaints and had to escalate to Accor Customer Care before getting a substantive reply. The hotel's position: The hotel's own CCTV review found that a third-party vehicle passed extremely close to our car at around 4:57 PM on 8 August, and security assessed it as 95% likely to have caused the damage. Yet the hotel's written conclusion was that it bears no responsibility, on the basis that the damage was caused by a third party "at the location where you parked the vehicle yourself." We did not choose that location — we were directed there by the hotel's own staff as part of its valet process. The hotel also declined to share any footage or images, citing privacy, and told us to pursue the matter through the Traffic Police ourselves. Management follow-up: On 25 August, the Cluster General Manager emailed to say he was personally reviewing the matter and would revert "soonest." That was more than three weeks ago. We have heard nothing since. We did not expect the hotel to be at fault for another driver's actions. What we expected was proactive communication, help identifying the responsible party, and a hotel that stands behind the valet process it asks guests to follow. Instead, we were left to chase for basic information, then told the incident had nothing to do with the hotel. If you drive to this hotel: photograph your car thoroughly before handing it over, and note exactly where staff ask you to leave it. Like most guests, it never occurred to us that we would need to — and based on our experience, you will be on your own if anything happens.

We are so glad we chose Raffles Sentosa for our wedding stay. The property itself is stunning and effortlessly charming, but what truly set the experience apart was the impeccable butler service. We had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Sarvesh, who was extraordinary from start to finish. Right before the big day, he even arranged an amazing bubble bath to help the bride unwind and made sure everything ran seamlessly on schedule. Everything was executed to absolute perfection, giving us complete peace of mind during such an important milestone. His warmth, meticulous care, and genuine sincerity made our stay truly unforgettable, so much so that we are already planning our next visit! We would love to have Sarvesh again as our butler in our next stay.

Raffles Sentosa is fabulous and made particularly special by the level of service provided by the employees which is truly excellent. The team are all incredibly friendly and do everything they can to ensure your stay with them is memorable. Special mention to Santos, Fernando, Lynette & Mia who each made our stay exceptional. Had a wonderful stay at the Raffles Hotel Sentosa. The mattresses were absolutely amazing – extremely comfortable and perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Villas are impressively large, offering more than great space and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality options. The restaurants were equally excellent, offering delicious food in beautiful settings. The surrounding area and hotel grounds are stunning, very well maintained, and exceptionally clean. Most importantly, the staff was incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, a fantastic experience – I would definitely stay here again!
