Lotte Hotel Seoul

This was the first time I stayed at this Lotte Hotel. I’ve stayed at the Signiel and that is a unique experience. But I have to say that I really loved the Lotte Hotel. We had rooms in the Executive Tower. We also had access to the La Cime lounge. The selection of high quality food at breakfast and at happy hour was astonishing. Champagne, open bar, beef tenderloin carving station—it was really beyond our expectations. La Cime access also gave us free use of the sauna and fitness area. We loved it! But even better were the kind and helpful staff. We had one or two small issues and we were so impressed that the hotel staff addressed them so professionally. We have nothing but good to say about the Lotte and we would definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel is very central. It’s within walking distance to many of the tourist attractions or just a few stops on the subway which is 3-5mins walk away. It’s also adjacent to the Lotte Department Store, perfect for any last minute souvenir grab; the food avenue in the basement is particularly good. The hotel is one of the grand dames and has a very classic vibe. Some of the standard rooms are really tired looking and the lower floors are undergoing renovations which you can hear after 8am. You can ask for a room change which was what I did and the front desk will swiftly do that for you. My room included a lounge breakfast at Le Salon, the selection was plentiful and fresh. During this trip, I misplaced a ring after I checked out and when I called the hotel the next day, I was told Housekeeping had found it and was placed at a safe until my instructions. I am super grateful for the honesty and integrity of the staff which truly reflects the values of the hotel management. Ive stayed at this hotel 10years ago and will definitely return again. This may not suit a younger travel with design in mind but I highly recommend it for the service I received and the proximity to Myeongdong and the vicinity around.

This should be a top 10 hotel in Seoul. I stayed at 3 5 star hotels during my solo trip to Seoul, and this was by far the best one. The service here is absolutely pristine. From the moment of my arrival, I was treated with such graciousness and service by every staff member I encountered. After a grueling taxi ride and multiple luggage, I felt very welcomed and taken care of the moment I stepped out of the vehicle. I encountered such high quality service here that I have not encountered anywhere else in Seoul. I booked a 1 King room and it was quite spacious. Every inch of the room was meticulously clean and the furnishings so elegant and high class. The location is in the heart of Myeongdong, so there are tons of stores and lots of people shopping all around. It is also attached to Lotte Department Store which provides lots of luxury shopping and lots of food options. Given the area, the traffic is loud, so if you are looking for a quiet place then this is not the best area to stay in. But if you want to stay in the area, then Lotte Hotel Seoul is the perfect place to stay. It will not disappoint.

Jasmine made our experience wonderful. She recognized that it was my wife’s birthday and upgraded us to a beautiful top floor suite in the executive tower. This set the stage for a wonderful visit. Service is fast and efficient. Everyone was friendly and great. The hotel rooms are tastefully appointed with very high end modern amenities. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Hotel is central to the subway system and a quick walk over to the main shopping area of Myeongdong. We got an upgrade to the executive tower and our room was modern, spacious, and had an amazing view.
