Oakwood Premier Coex Center

Good location and clean facility after refurbishment. There are kitchen, pots, and laundry machine in the room which are suitable for some people who need a residence hotel. Swimming pool and gym are also nice enough. Hotel staff are nice and kind. Only one defect I found is there is no garden in the hotel nor a park nearby to stroll. I used to have breakfast in the bakery on the first floor instead of the breakfast in the hotel restaurant. 강남에서 이동하기 좋은 위치에 호텔은 오래 됐어도 리모델링하여 깔끔하고 주방과 세탁기가 있어서 레지던스 호텔을 원하는 사람들에게 좋아요. 수영장과 체육관 시설도 괜찮고 직원들도 친절합니다. 한 가지 흠이라면 호텔 내와 주변에 산책할만한 정원이나 공원이 없다는 것. 조식 대신에 1층 르푸도레 베이커리에서 아침 식사를 하곤 했어요.

It's a standard 4-5 star hotel and you could be in one of any of the bigger hotel chains. Staff are friendly but don’t provide very good descriptions of the hotel amenities. Check-in was not allowed before the official time, and we were not advised of the health club where we could’ve waited. We only found it when we departed. Rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious and well appointed. Housekeeping is extremely good. The location is reasonable but sterile.  However, it's right beside the terminal for the express bus to the airport (the best and fastest way for Gangnam).  The area does not have a great deal of restaurants or places to eat other than in the mall. Taxis in Seoul were very cheap and we used them often. We were surprised at the level of smog in the city although there was very little wind during our stay. This hotel is quite expensive for what it is and if we stayed again, we’d probably stay in a different area given that we had to use a taxi to travel to more interesting suburbs.

The hotel is perfectly located if you have a conference at COEX (otherwise, there are more exciting neighborhoods in Seoul). The rooms are great – huge, comfortable, with a nice view and all the amenities you could think of. The staff was very kind, especially Summer at the reception. My only complaint (which is a rather serious one) is about the breakfast, which has very few vegan options. There isn't even a vegan spread, such as a margarine or a vegan butter. The few vegan options are not clearly marked, and the staff at the breakfast buffet were not helpful at all, nor did they seem to care. So it's a great hotel I would love to come back to, but without breakfast next time.

Good stuff: Location convenient. Room excellent. Large apartment, great shower, great bed. Poor stuff: reception staff have only basic English. I realise most Asian hotels will not allow early check in. After a 14 hour overnight flight we were totally exhausted. Arrived at hotel 11am. Check in 3pm. Absolute no to early check in. Asked whereabouts swimming pool, hoping to relax by the pool until room available. Reception staff gave poor directions (sooo confusing with many banks of lifts & in a separate part of the building). Both of us tried twice, went back to reception. Got same incorrect verbal directions again. Still couldn’t not find. Result: 4 hours in ground floor small reception area. Both small couches occupied. Eventually got a seat, fell asleep in reception. Uncomfortable & awkward. Suggestion: reception to give paper map with directions. Next day, eventually found the indoor swimming pool. Inside a fitness centre, with comfortable chairs in a lounge area & a “sleeping room” with 3 comfortable single beds. Damn!!! That would have been heaven yesterday when none tired. Expect better trained reception staff at a hotel of this standard/price. They never mentioned a sleeping room or comfortable lounge inside fitness centre, even after I said we were exhausted & just needed somewhere to rest (until check in st 3pm).

Oakwood Premier Coex Center Seoul是首爾很棒的酒店~ 房間寬敞,除了應有設備外,還有廚房、餐具、刀叉以及大冰箱~ 與世貿中心的展館相鄰,B1有超大的百貨商場與美食街區, 這家酒店太舒適了~~
