I wanted to raise an issue that I experienced during my recent 1 night stay on 6/22 in room 653. One of the bellman staff offered to help my putting my baby stroller into the trunk of the taxicab that I was getting into to go out for dinner yesterday. I appreciate the help that they offered but they seem to have broken my stroller so it no longer works as it should. I feel that I deserve some kind of compensation as it worked fine prior to my stay yesterday. I am very disappointed about this incident as I now need to buy a new stroller so my baby can sit to travel around.

We took a shuttle bus from Gangbyeon Station to the hotel. In the hotel, there were various amenities facilities such as cafes, convenience stores, swimming pools, and spas. The room had an A.I speaker that could control music, lighting and curtains. There was foot bath at which we can see the Han River. It was great to take a foot bath outside looking at the river view. And then we had a small party to celebrate 10th year of our friendship. The chicken and schweinshaxe we ordered from room service were tender and juicy. With the beautiful night view, our party was successful.

What a great chance I had to stay at Walkerhill Hotel Seoul. Since my meeting is here, I could also enjoy this hotel. Located so perfect for an escape from the busy Seoul, behind is river and you can also see mountain. Im not sure what mountain it is but the view is very nice. Quite outskirt from the centre of Seoul so better to take taxi to go to somewhere else. The room is just enough, not to big and not too small. The bed is very very comfortable and everything in the room work well. They provide daily free minibar supply and they give beers, cola and lemonade and 1 pack of snack. They have bath tub and the amenities are very nice too... Their breakfast is a feast...!!! A lot of food variaties and coffee machine is there too...!!! Fruits, salad, bread, Korean dishes and Indian dishes are available... You might gain weight just by looking at them all...!!!

This was my very first time in Seoul. The hotel was nice, with very friendly staff. However their English was extremely limited, but this applies to Korea (and Japan) in general. I got by with google translate. The food was excellent, the room was spacious. At first I was concerned it was in the middle of nowhere but it’s only a 5 minute bus trip to the awesome Seoul Metro. Overall a satisfactory experience, but if I were to travel with family I’d probably choose a hotel closer to the city centre

Walkerhill is pricey, yet the room furniture was cracked, unpolished, outdated wood that seemed more in place at a lower end hotel like Ramada. There is little to no English support for non-Korean-speaking guests. If I were German, Russian, Vietnamese, I'd have no hope. AI speaker controlled most of the room functions, but would not recognize English (thus we spent the night trying to sleep without being able to turn off half the lights in the room). This is a shame since Walkerhill is named for a US soldier in the Korean War, and the hotel has a long previous history of hosting visiting military families and guests from the US. Korea in general has a dislike of foreigners and English, but it is a lingua franca, and when someone spends a sizeable amount of money on a hotel, good service should be a given. Additionally, guests can't get reservations at any of the resort's several restaurants. I understand wanting to fill a restaurant, but if you're staying at a resort, but you have to leave to be able to eat dinner, it's a bit pointless.
