The Westin Josun Seoul

I'm glad that we stayed here for: the location, the room that accommodated a family of 4 (called execute suite with a traditional room (1 large bed, 1 regular bed, full bathroom) on one side and living room with a cot set-up and half bath on the other side), the gym and pool area (large, full of amenities, beautiful), and the hotel bar on the lobby level (great food, amazing service and atmosphere). Sushi Cho was a great restaurant too, but quieter. I would pass on lounge access for future visits. The lounge opens at 6pm most days, and our family would be more inclined to use a lounge like that from 5-6. We used it on 2 evenings though and the food looked fine, the drinks were nice. However, it felt unwelcoming upon arrival to be informed that our time was limited to 1 hour. We had dinner plans so weren't planning to stay beyond an hour anyway! It was handy to use the lounge for coffee and lite bites in the mornings, except Sunday when it didn't open until 7am, which was after our DMZ tour pick-up time. I would also pass on Rubrica, except maybe just for pizza. But neither the lounge nor Rubrica changed my overall rating of this hotel. I would happily stay here again!

It is one of the oldest hotels in Seoul. Located in the heart of Seoul, near the City Hall, Myeongdong, and Gwanghwamun. I had a beautiful view of the Hwangudan Alter from my room!! The night market and the Lotte Mall are next door, and the Cheonggyecheon Stream is walking distance from the hotel.The Gyeongbokgung Palace is close by. It's location is unbeatable!! As with the other Josun properties I stayed in during my South Korea visit - clean room with complimentary water bottles (management, please replace plastic bottles with glass ones), a coffee/tea maker, and rooms cleaned daily. The staff were very helpful. I couldn't have picked a better property for my 4 night/ 5 day stay at Seoul!!

Location of hotel can’t be beat in Seoul. This is the second time we have stayed here and besides location, service in on par with a five star hotel from moment you walk in until you check out. Breakfast buffet offers huge variety of excellent food catering to the international traveler. The concierge lounge at the top of hotel offers great service, staff extremely polite and service outstanding. This hotel truly reflects the best in hospitality and many other hotels would be wise to take after their example. Will definitely stay here again!

The Concierge staff was extremely helpful and quick at finding me a medical clinic for my foot injury. They were very friendly and very quick to assist me. I was also able to extend my stay with. A late checkout to comfortably meet my flight happy

Great stay at the Westin Josun Hotel! The staff has impeccable professionalism and and genuine warmth. Every interaction felt personalized, and they went above and beyond from handling luggage on arrival to friendly and efficient check in. They also granted my 3rd guest in a second room complimentary breakfast and club room access as an extension of my Titanium benefit. Every interaction from front desk, porters, club room attendants and restaurant staff was pleasant and they all went above and beyond to ensure service was exceptional. The location of the hotel is excellent. Conveniently situated walking distance to Myeongdong via street or underground path access when it was too hot. The spa is a nice way to start your day or unwind after a long day with clean, well maintained hot pools, cold pool , steam room, sauna and massage chair in the lounge. a serene oasis, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Would definitely recommend Westin Josun as a home base when in Seoul
