The Westin Josun Seoul

Every year, I visit Korea for a family vacation. This is the first time I have chosen the Westin Josun, and I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you to Mr. Woody and the other staff for their professionalism, kindness, and consistently strong English‑language skills. I will choose this hotel again when I return to Seoul.

The Westin Josun is conveniently located in one of Seouls most desirable locations. It is next to City Hall Park and City Hall and close to The Japanese and USA Embassies. In addition you are close to a numer of Palaces, and shopping areas, notably Lotte Department Store, Myeongdong pedestrian mall and Dongdaemun shopping street. Metro stops are very near by. I have stayed at The Westin Josun many times and consider it my home away from home. The staff in all areas of the hotel are helpful, courteous, gracious and welcoming. The staff in the executive lounge are especially warm and hospitable. They make one feel right at home and can not do enough to make your visit comfortable. Food and drink offerings are ample and delicious. The restaurant staff at Aria are great. They greet you with a smile and are very accommodating, especially the coffee barista. As soon as she sees you, she remembers your drink. Hats off to the valet and door staff. They are the first impression one gets, and they do not disappoint. Housekeeping is efficient and does an excellent and timely job with cleaning rooms and keeping all common areas well preserved. The pool, sauna, and gym are all very clean, well staffed, and in working order. Love the lower level entrance that is a shortcut to Lotte and shopping. There are a number of other restaurants, a wine shop and florist in the hotel also. The KAL bus stops right at the front door for an easy but long trip from the airport. The Westin Josun is highly recommended.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Strict rules re pool usage. Really nice room. Great shower despite it being in the bath!

Westin Josun Seoul will always be our favorite Marriott property in Seoul and probably our favorite, period. This was our second stay and the staff (particularly Woody) made us feel more than welcome, which is something we rarely experience at other 'luxury' Marriott hotels. Especially knowing there are a dime a dozen Bonvoy Platinum Elites!

If you are looking for a five-star hotel in Seoul, I highly recommend The Westin Joseon! Views from the room of the ancient Korean monument with the great city in the background is absolutely breathtaking. Also the service is incomparable! Everyone here is so gentle and kind. Zoey Park at check-in was beyond helpful! She made the start of this experience wonderful with her kind words and service! I am 1000% satisfied!
