The Sevillian sun is part of the design scheme at Hospes las Casas del Rey de Baeza. A cobblestoned courtyard is flooded by light, prompting leafy vines to creep up whitewashed columns. The hotel blends Arabic and European design elements and incorporates the ochres and reds of southern Spain’s bullrings. On the roof, a swimming pool rimmed with aloe plants makes for a cool respite, as do the spacious rooms – slate floors, sisal rugs and cast-iron bed frames evoke the feel of a chic apartment.

What an absolutely lovely hotel. The rooms are huge and comfortable, the staff is hospitable in every way, the setting around a courtyard is magical. It's close enough to the main attractions of Sevilla to be easily walkable. I was so relaxed and grateful to have stumbled on this place! Wonderful breakfast, too.

Stayed here two nights in a second floor room which was well appointed though with windows onto the corridors so for privacy needed to keep shutters or curtains closed. There was some noise travelling up for the internal courtyards in the evening. The toiletry products were excellent and felt like those from a spa facility. We didn't use the pool as there was a cool brisk wind but it was lovely to relax on the sun loungers after a day's full sightseeing. Breakfasts were excellent with a lot of choice as were the light meals we had in the courtyard. Staff were friendly.

This is a wonderful hotel - very well maintained and furnished. The deluxe room is spacious and the bed is absolutely huge and very comfortable. Everyone working at the hotel is friendly and helpful. There are multiple spaces to sit out and have a drink or snack. The roof terrace is snug and comfortable - the pool is not heated but in 30 degree heat that was very welcome. Breakfast was as plentiful with hot egg options. We would absolutely return!

Conveniently located near the edge of the old town in a small plaza on a relatively quiet lane with a church and another high class hotel opposite. Charming courtyards; decor of high standard; great and efficient welcome at a busy time; good and helpful service; nice dining room for breakfast. We had a superior room. It was very comfortable, with plenty enough space for a one night stay and a stunning bathroom with circular bath. Good value for a hotel of this type and quality.

Boutique hotel in a quiet(er) neighborhood but still within walking distance of everything. Service was nice but not exceptional. Breakfast was similar. Common areas of the hotel are well decorated and intimate. A very solid 4-star hotel experience.
