Named for the monarch who commissioned it in 1928, Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seville was conceived as Europe's most luxurious hotel. This member of the Luxury Collection is situated just minutes from the Plaza de España, among the arches and arabesques in Seville's historic city center. Exquisitely appointed guest rooms and suites, designed to accommodate heads of state, resonate with grand European style, creating elegance and a tender, opulent stay in the Andalusian capital.

Staying at Hotel Alfonso XIII was nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment I arrived, the property’s stunning architecture and historic elegance were an unforgettable experience. Every detail—from the beautifully designed rooms to the lush courtyards was amazing. What truly elevated the stay, however, was the level of service. The staff consistently went above and beyond, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would especially like to recognize Giovanni P., who was exceptional in every regard. His attentiveness, kindness, and genuine commitment to guest experience made a lasting impression and significantly enhanced my stay.

We stayed for two nights and the hotel is a beautiful and historic property with a great location. The staff at the reception were very welcoming as well as the concierges and everywhere were very friendly and went out of their way to please. The service at the restaurants need to be improved. Special mention to Fatima (an outstanding lady) at the restaurant, to Giovanni (the lobby ambassador), to Martha (the sales manager) and to Pietro at the reception. The breakfast was very generous with a nice variety. Housekeeping and the turndown service were excellent. Would we stay again? Absolutely!

After a ca. 2cm long piece of glass inside the hotel provided slipper cut my partners toe open, the hotel staff was extremely reluctant to submit an incident report. They first said it's not possible and later tried to dismiss her with a draft, avoiding submission. The first aid was also subpar, they essentially dropped off a bandaid and a glass of iodine at the room, not even scissors, let alone somebody taking a look. In a follow up email they accepted no responsibility and claimed that an internal investigation found no evidence of any wrondoing from the hotel side. Practically accusing us of putting the glass into the slipper to cause an injury. It's an absolute surreal experience with a supposedly luxury hotel. Though we never had a similar accident before, there are occasional hiccups caused by either side and never experienced such lack of care even on much smaller matters.

Stayed in February at the hotel, Alfonso. First impressions, one of the most beautiful hotels in all of Seville, Spain, centrally located to basically walk everywhere and never be in your car in the hotel is elegant, classy, and a classic in Seville. Lobby and restaurant are beautiful and accommodating, the breakfast is especially good with high-quality options and service to match. The highlight is the concierge services with Antonio morilla been at the hotel property for 25 years plus and is truly the remarkable concierge. I’ve been to in some time with charismatic communication and a stellar approach to hospitality. Our one challenge was with the heat and air-conditioning in the room that we could not get quite right but we survived. Highly recommend.
