We booked two executive rooms with river views in the main tower for a two-night stay. The rooms were as depicted on the website. At 1:30 pm, we arrived and were informed that one room was ready. The concierge accommodated our request for adjoining rooms by taking our luggage to our son's room and would notify us via WhatsApp when the adjacent room was prepared. The room's luxury was consistent with Shangri-La's standards, featuring remotely operated curtains and luxurious amenities, including a spacious changing room with bathrobes and slippers. The hotel's main lobby served excellent tea in a well-lit setting, upholding its brand reputation.

We have been staying at the Shangri-La Pudong many times, and everytime we are amazed about the extra miles the staff and management is walking to ensure we feel like home! Extra mentions would be going to the Horizon Lounge team, the GM Mr, Sinan and the director of rooms Sean, who all made sure we will come back another time! The location is just amazing, right next to the HuangPu river, the ferries crossing the river, some malls around, loads of restaurants and the subway station connects us to the rest of Shanghai, easily!

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional! The staff's attentiveness and thoughtfulness were outstanding from airport pick-up to drop-off. A huge thank you to Mr. Sean Li, Director of Rooms, who personally expedited our check-out when he noticed my stress about catching our flight. His proactive help was amazing! Our room was incredibly comfortable with an amazing view of the Bund. The hotel's prime location near many attractions was also incredibly convenient. Honestly, we found nothing to dislike. It was a flawless experience thanks to the wonderful team!
