The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen

Premium service. Great location and extensve facilities. Fabulous gym - the best I have seen in any hotel. Food is average at best. The Club Lounge is a big plus. Service at Reception is helpful and attentive, but incredibly slow. It takes ages for staff to process a check-in or an extension, as if they are typing up the entire booking form from scratch. I stayed there for 2 weeks, and their major fault is that they have zero price loyalty for longer term guests. The price is the price, no matter how long you have stayed. And sometimes the online price is cheaper than that offered by Reception. The drinks and service in the Curv bar and the cafe are excellent. The service in Flavorz restaurant is also excellent, but the food there is not exceptional at all. And they charge $85+ for the dinner buffet option - far too expensive for what's on offer. The wine is also very expensive. The location is great, and you are within walking distance of Coco Park shopping centre, and some bars and restaurants. Overall, I would stay here again . But I would be more pricee sensitive, as there are similar hotels nearby at better rates

We just had the most magical stay here. This truly is a five star hotel with top service and beautiful rooms/facilities/ great location/ delicious food! We had the lounge package and it was so worthwhile! Special shout out to Aaron who made our stay extra special!

The hotel’s high standards and excellent service from the entire staff truly stand out. Shenzhen ritz carlton was our start hotel for our 3 weeks trip and the last before return First about the hotel We,arrived around 0600 am for checking in , way before check in time At the reception and due to my ambassador level , they immediately upgraded to an available suite , We were very grateful after 12 hours on a plane But the best of this hotel is the very friendly lounge , being vegetarian , they prepared special food for me Shenzhen is a great place for shopping , we filled up a new luggage , that we left at the hotel until our last stop before return , after 3 weeks touring china
