The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by picturesque views, it's extremely quiet there too. However, the food in the hotel is extremely expensive! At around €30 for a main dish. The children's menu is ok but some things on it are very priced and the portions a tad big for little mouths. We went as a family of three and to be honest, the hotel is not the greatest for young children. It can be boring, especially of an evening. And to make the most of your visit, you would need to hire a car if you want to explore, as a taxi can be expensive. If you are a couple wanting a quiet retreat, this place is perfect. Just be mindful of the cost of the food and drink! With the average price of a cocktail at around €12. Even the pool side menu is quite steep for what they sell.

Don’t bring kids because they will charge extra per night

The resort has impressive architecture and a lovely seaside view, but the overall atmosphere felt distant and uninspired. Staff rarely smiled or showed genuine enthusiasm, and the level of hospitality did not match the luxury image of the property. The so-called “smart room” felt outdated — the fridge couldn’t be used for personal items, and noise from the connecting room was constant. Several facilities were closed despite the low-season period, giving the resort an empty feeling. Breakfast was quite ordinary, with limited variety and average quality. Overall, it’s a visually stunning place, but it lacks the warmth, service, and attention to detail that make a true luxury experience.

Our stay at D-Resort Šibenik was everything we hoped for and more. We had a beautiful suite overlooking the Adriatic, and the view alone made it worth the visit — calm, expansive, and endlessly relaxing. From the moment we stepped into the resort, there was a soft, fresh scent in the air that set the tone for what was to come: understated luxury and total tranquillity. The atmosphere throughout was calm and unhurried, and the staff were wonderfully discreet yet always attentive when needed. It is the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease — elegant without ever feeling formal. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with plenty of variety and quality ingredients served in a bright, welcoming setting. Both swimming pools were stunning — beautifully maintained, with views that made it difficult to leave. A car is essential if you want to explore the surrounding area, though it is tempting to stay within the resort itself, where everything feels designed for rest and rejuvenation. D-Resort Šibenik is the perfect choice if you are seeking peace, luxury, and that unmistakable sense of effortless style. It is a place that looks as beautiful as it feels — a true escape by the sea.
