Anantara Angkor Resort & Spa is your gateway to the eighth wonder of the world, the revered temples of Angkor Wat. Only 15 minutes away, it's an easy drive to behold the sunrise in fiery orange and violet streaks above the spires. The resort itself blends elements of contemporary style with its Khmer royal heritage. Expect rich hardwood floors, reclining settees and locally crafted sandstone sculptures of Apsara dancers in tranquil rooms with private balconies.

Outstanding service - they remember everything and go the extra mile. Packed breakfast to go when we had an early flight. We enjoyed lunch as part of our tour packages and loved the local dishes. Service at Chi and front desk were amazing. Booked all tours thru hotel - had a wonderful guide and driver. Pricey but worth it. Cambodia is now at the top of our list. I imagine this is close to being like HBOs White Lotus but without the terrible guests and murders!

Our stay at Anantara Angkor Resort will be memorable. The hotel is not too large, beautifully decorated, and the rooms are very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the attention of all staff, from the front office to the pool, spa, bar, and restaurant. Some advice: the "new year" (April) is very warm, and a lot of locals travel to Siem Reap. It is, however, a nice experience because people play in a very nice manner. The day after the official celebration is perfect to visit the temples and other sites around Siem Reap.

Overall Value: Lives up to its price Duration: Stayed for 3 nights. Location: well located, 10-15 minute by Tuk Tuk to most restaurants and about 20min to Angkor Wat. Our room included complimentary Tuk Tuk to and from the town centre. This was super convenient and could be organised via WhatsApp with the hotel. It may be $5 per trip for some room types. Check in: efficient as expected at this price point, Foot ritual was nice. If arriving later in the day after the spa is closed though, you’ll get to do it another day. Getting there: Hotel airport transport available but pricey (international 5* hotel price). We ordered a pick up from an aggregator site at a fraction of the price in a very good vehicle. Condition and cleanliness: Fit out is stylish understated luxury, very comfortable and entire hotel is extremely clean. Reliability of advertised pictures: pictures are reliable / accurate Room: We had a Premium Terrace Room which is larger than the standard. Very spacious with good sunlight. Comfortable bed (mattress on the soft side). There is a very quaint traditional snack / sweet delivered every night as part of the turn down service, this was an excellent touch. Our only adverse feedback was that our room was a bit noisy as it must have been near a service area or store room or something. We could hear a door open and close all the time. (The type of sound probably fixable with WD40 on the hinges and a door seal for insulation) Gave that feedback on checkout only, so hopefully fixed in future. Bathroom: Very spacious and was split over 3 areas: (1) Hand basin, vanity table and shower room; (2) toilet; (3) bath tub and another rain shower. Good water pressure and stable temperature. Toileteries were abundant with choices, unbranded but of very good quality. Service: Excellent team throughout from reception, porters, housekeeping, restaurant, spa. Very attentive, proactive with a high attention to detail whilst still delivering with professionalism and warmth. Pre-arrival Email communications to queries before we arrived can be a bit slow. Took a few days to get a response for some questions, we had plenty of time so that wasn’t an issue for us in this instance. Views: we had an enclosed decorative pool and the main swimming pool on the other side. Facilities/ breakfast: Gym and spa on site. Pool table, a bar with happy hour and traditional dances at night. The room has a very useful retractable adaptor unit with international plug options. There’s a schedule of activities available every day but we didn’t have a chance to do any of it. Breakfast is a semi buffet with a lot of local options. It’s in their all day dining Restaurant Chi. Food and service is excellent, international 5* hotel price. Conclusion: Excellent luxury hotel option for Angkor Wat!

This was such an impressive and unforgettable trip. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were all incredibly friendly and kind. One special gesture that stood out was the foot-washing ceremony upon our arrival—it made us feel truly cared for. After a full day of exploring, we took a shower late at night around 11 p.m., only to find that the hairdryer wasn't working. A staff member promptly came to replace it with a smile, which we really appreciated. Moon, our butler, kindly introduced us to the different areas of the hotel and surprised us with snacks and small souvenirs every day. Mary, a staff member at the restaurant, also took great care of us throughout our meals. Thank you so much for making this trip so memorable. My friends and I were deeply impressed by the hotel and the exceptional service. It’s a stay we’ll always remember.

Beautiful hotel in a location far enough out of Siem Reap, to escape the chaos of the town centre. When you arrive at the hotel you instinctively know you made a wise choice, and it didn’t disappoint.
