The Kind of Place That Takes Care of You

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

More than just a place to stay, Anantara Angkor Wat feels like a true home away from home—only far more indulgent. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with the kind of warmth that instantly puts you at ease, a genuine expression of Cambodian hospitality at its finest. Every detail here is intentional. Every interaction feels personal. It’s not just about service—it’s about care. The kind you don’t have to ask for, but quietly notice in every moment. As the day winds down, turndown service becomes something you actually look forward to. Your bed is prepared as if someone’s about to tuck you in, your space gently reset, amenities replenished, and every little detail thoughtfully taken care of—like returning to a room that already knows exactly what you need. The cleanliness of this resort is impeccable with so much attention to detail. There’s a certain calm, almost cinematic elegance to it all—The White Lotus energy, but warmer, more sincere, and far more personal. Every staff knows you like a friend and approaches you with security and care, Location is tucked away from the busy streets of Pub Street which is more peaceful with little to none noise level. Whether you’re starting your day in peace or ending it in complete comfort, every moment here carries a strong sense of being looked after. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t just host you—it embraces you. You honestly get what you paid which is more than just values, Our stay here wouldn’t be amazing without the entire staff on duty from 04/07/26-04/10/26. The love and care for us really set the bar up. It wasn’t just service, it was passion felt right. To my Cha of Chi Restaurant, to Moon and Darany of front desk for always greeting us hello and goodbye upon arriving and leaving, to all the house keeping staff for cleaning our rooms twice and for always attending to our needs, to all butlers and servers 🙏🏻 i am sad to leave this heavenly place 🥹 A stay that goes beyond luxury. One that truly pampers, spoils, and stays with you long after you leave.

Rejuvenating venue with sincere staff

This is the second Anantara property we’ve stayed in and I must say, they have panache and style. We found our room comfortable and lacking nothing. Appreciated the well designed shower that kept water where it belonged. Beautiful water feature right in the center courtyard. Well appointed gift shop. Dining in the evening was expensive for Cambodia and mediocre but it was so relaxing to be there. Breakfast was excellent.

Amazing stay/Amazing Staff

My wife and I are traveling with a small group throughout South East Asia. The weather is brutally hot but our stay at the Anantara Angkor Wat equally as sizzling. The staff is always helpful, took time to know us by our names and were always happy and helpful. From the general manager to the dining staff everyone was 5 star. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the pool area and dining facilities are top notch. The spa was a welcome retreat from the heat as well. Our honestly only disappointment is that we have to leave. Hopefully we can return again soon. Thanks to everyone here at Anantara Angkor Wat!

Angkor Oasis

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The Anantara Angkor Resort was our little oasis on our recent family trip to visit Angkor Wat. We booked a family suite, which was super spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family traveling with two teenagers. We coordinated our temple tours through the hotel, and everything ran well. Our guide was great, and the driver went above and beyond by having cold water and cold hand towels ready after each temple. It was a godsend in the heat. Our guide also knew all the best places for photos and even showed us some camera features on our iPhones. Most of the tours have a break in the day, which provided us time to rest and enjoy the pool during the peak sun hours. The biggest surprise was the outstanding food at the hotel, which far exceeded expectations. The breakfast offering was super fresh and filled us up each morning. Our temple tours included lunch at the hotel, which we were surprised to learn was a 3-course western or kymer menu (or you could mix and match courses between menus). The dinners were equally fantastic. All the ingredients were so fresh and each dish was executed very well. We ended up eating all our meals at the hotel across our 3-day stay because they were so good.
