The Angkor Anantara is a gem. Location: The Angkor Anantara is a beautiful, serene, and perfectly located 39 suite Resort tucked away from the craziness of Pub Street but close enough that a 15 minute tuk tuk ride will get you there without an issue. When you walk into the Resort you are met with a natural, welcoming and quiet environment. It was the perfect launch pad for our visit to the must see Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm Temple, Khulen Mountain and the many other sites we took in during our 3-day visit. The best part being that the Resort took care of ALL our tours and transportation needs. They made it seamless and stress free. From roundtrip transportation to the airport to our guided tours, they made our trip a delight. They booked our wonderful guide @hanuman.angkor.portfolio, who was not only a very knowledgeable and fun guide but also a photographer!! (let's just say he gave great direction and our pics were not boring!) Room: Our double twin suite was a spacious, vaulted ceiling, beautifully wood appointed room with ample space for 2 people to comfortably get ready, relax and plan for the day ahead. The wood details and decorative touches made it feel authentic as opposed to generic. Besides the twin beds, there was a lounger, sitting chair, desk/chair, small table and even a separate bath/shower room (which unfortunately we didn't have time to take advantage of). The toilet is separate from the sink & shower room and has all the toiletries you could ask for. The bed and pillows were super comfy and the room was spotless. All in all a very comfortable space. Service: We couldn't ask for more. Not only was the entire team genuinely proactive in making our stay as comfortable as possible, they were very friendly and considerate. When we arrived we were greeted with a refreshing drink and offered a welcome foot wash. During breakfast we were also able to take advantage of a shoulder massage. The dining options were diverse....you could try Khmer inspired food or stick with the western menu. We had a mix of both menus. The shrimp & pomelo salad was delicious! And, the vegeterian & dessert options were also very good. Let's not even get started on the many breakfast options. All in all our trip to Siem Reap Cambodia was more than we could have hoped for because of the effort and attitude of the Angkor Anantara Team. We highly recommend this gem of a resort!

What an amazing place To stay. I cannot explain how wonderful everyone has been for the duration of our stay. To the servers at hi restaurant to those on the front desk and everyone else. You made this part of our holiday the highlight of our year. You made Tony’s 60th birthday very special. He was touched and humbled by your hospitality as was I. We have never been somewhere as wonderful as this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone that will listen: thank you from the both of us for your kindness and hospitality. The whole team In the hotel made Tony’s 60th very Memorable and we are Deeply grateful and humbled and hope we can repeat the experience again soon. With all out best regards. Luxurious & relaxing stay in Siem Reap

We really enjoyed our stay at Anantara Angkor. The à la carte breakfast was delicious, absolutely loved the bruschetta and fresh mango every morning. The pool area was stunning and never crowded, perfect for relaxing. We also tried their spa and we loved the relaxing massage and the private steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi area that we booked after dinner. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and tranquility in Siem Reap.

Perfect!

We loved the hotel: it was a small piece of heaven in Siem Reap. Conveniently located for the visit to the temples and only 8 min by tuktuk to the city center (and we were very happy not to be in the center at night/evening but to be on a quiet location). We were very warmly welcomed by all staff and could check-in at 11 already. We would also highly recommend staying in the hotel for drinks and dinner as it was very high quality food and drinks in a beautiful setting. If we ever go back, we will visit this hotel again without a doubt!
