My wife and I are traveling with a small group throughout South East Asia. The weather is brutally hot but our stay at the Anantara Angkor Wat equally as sizzling. The staff is always helpful, took time to know us by our names and were always happy and helpful. From the general manager to the dining staff everyone was 5 star. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the pool area and dining facilities are top notch. The spa was a welcome retreat from the heat as well. Our honestly only disappointment is that we have to leave. Hopefully we can return again soon. Thanks to everyone here at Anantara Angkor Wat!

The Anantara Angkor Resort was our little oasis on our recent family trip to visit Angkor Wat. We booked a family suite, which was super spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family traveling with two teenagers. We coordinated our temple tours through the hotel, and everything ran well. Our guide was great, and the driver went above and beyond by having cold water and cold hand towels ready after each temple. It was a godsend in the heat. Our guide also knew all the best places for photos and even showed us some camera features on our iPhones. Most of the tours have a break in the day, which provided us time to rest and enjoy the pool during the peak sun hours. The biggest surprise was the outstanding food at the hotel, which far exceeded expectations. The breakfast offering was super fresh and filled us up each morning. Our temple tours included lunch at the hotel, which we were surprised to learn was a 3-course western or kymer menu (or you could mix and match courses between menus). The dinners were equally fantastic. All the ingredients were so fresh and each dish was executed very well. We ended up eating all our meals at the hotel across our 3-day stay because they were so good.

We had a wonderful visit at Anantara Angkor. Service was top notch from start to finish, and all of the staff were kind and genuinely cared about our family having a great experience. We booked the VIP airport arrival/transfer, and they had very new, spacious vans with charging ports, WiFi and local snacks/cold water. We did two private tours through the hotel and also found those to be good value - same nice vans, lunch included and high quality driver/tour guide. The back and forth to plan these ahead of the trip was very helpful - they patiently worked with me to get the perfect itinerary for our family. The restaurant breakfast and lunch by the pool were both particularly good (food and service) - huge selection at breakfast and the most delicious bruschetta (unexpected!). Easy $5 Tuk Tuk ride to town for dinner one night. Only slight mishap was the gym was about 86 degrees one morning when I went in so think A/C wasn’t working (or on a timer that I couldn’t figure out), though they worked to fix it asap. Otherwise it was a perfect stay. Oh, and fabulous/huge room (we had the family suite for our family of 4).

The staff at Anantara Angkor were friendly, joyful, and helpful. We were greeted at every meal by the chef. Every morning, we were greeted by the front desk and escorted to breakfast with a reminder to please let them know how they could assist us. The surroundings were peaceful and cozy comfortable, like a giant spa, in the midst of the city, with fountains, koi ponds, lush greenery, a lovely pool, and beautiful rooms (only 39). Our daily return from tours was greeted with smiling staff on the front steps, musical performance, and helpful hands. I can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed our stay. I hope we can make it back some day!

This hotel is incredible. As soon as we walked in we were blown away by the gorgeous design of the hotel. The service here is the best I have ever experienced and all staff members are so kind and happy to help. The dine by design Apsara show is incredible I thought was such good value and the dancers are amazing and so is the food (I wish I had a bigger appetite and could eat it all)! We also did the Kulen Mountain tour which was amazing. If anyone comes to Cambodia I will tell them this is the must stay hotel!
