Anjali by Syphon

I did a lot of research before I decided to stay at Anjali by Syphon during my recent solo trip to Siem Reap (July 29-August 5th). It was my first time in Cambodia. They perfected hospitality and took it to the next level of excellence! I travel a lot and this was by far the best place that is not too big and not too small, a perfect hidden gem between beautiful tall trees. What made Anjali by Syphone so special is that I never felt like a stranger in a foreign country. When they picked me up from the airport I felt like I came back to see my best friends and family. Thida became my friend instantly and my driver Mr. Kouy made me feel like a princess (very kind person with the best smile, always had cold towels and water ready for me). My tour guide Mr. Horm made my trip to Cambodia unforgettably magical (I learned so much from him). Annie provided a wealth of excellent suggestions. Most importantly, a huge thank you to their boss Mr. Ton who kept everything well orchestrated (without his continuous support, love for excellence and hospitality, and kind heart it would not be possible). In addition, their spa services were amazing! I tried Hot stone massage, Four hand massage, and Anjali Calm spa package. Their restaurant offered delicious options for breakfast and dinner. Anjali hotel’s customer service was perfect and I was amazed at the communication level between all team members. I emailed the Anjali team my wish list for tours and my preference for transportation ahead of time and Thida organized it perfectly. When it comes to the room it was clean, very comfortable, and well thought through. The hotel is located away from the busy loud center which gives you an opportunity to relax and at the same time it is easily accessable (plus hotel will arrange transportation when needed). I truly enjoyed my stay. I am now in love with the Cambodia and Anjali team. I hope to come back soon. I am already recommending Anjali by Syphon to my friends and family.

It’s not very often I write reviews about places, but this one deserves a mention. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here. From the pre arrival communication, check in, rooms (oh the rooms!), that divine pool and that oh so personal service - it’s all 5*. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or with grown up kids. Don’t get me wrong, they looked after my 9 and 11 year old perfectly, but I felt we may have been a little disruptive for their other clients. If I was to nitpick, I’d say it’s a little far from Siem reap town centre (but easily reachable by Tuk tuk), and breakfast options slightly limited - I would have preferred more fruit choices. Definitely not a deal breaker! Thank you to all at Anjali by Syphon for a truly memorable stay. I would gladly return if we were to come back to Siem Reap.

We stayed at anjali by syphon from 15th till 18th of july 2025 and were surprised by the level of service extended by the staff,the star of the the stay was Annie the front desk manager always smiling and going out of her way to help with transport, indentifying eating places and making every effort to make the stay remarkable.

What a wonderful and peaceful oasis! Thanks to the entire team, and especially to Annie. The suite was beautiful, the pool wonderfully refreshing, the food fantastic, and the massage truly relaxing. The guided tours we booked through the hotel were also excellent. A knowledgeable and friendly guide showed us all the beautiful places. Highly recommended, and we hope to return again.
