Golden Temple Residence

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The location is fantastic. It is close to the night market, walking street and pub alley. The hotel service is 10/10. Everyone is very friendly and kind. The breakfast has a beautiful selection of food. I ate supper there as well and it was delicious. I booked the 2.5 hour massage and it was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend coming to Siem Reap and staying here.

I had such a great experience staying at the Golden Temple Residence! The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and professional throughout my stay. They even reached out to me on WhatsApp before my arrival to ask if I needed transportation from the airport, which was a really nice touch. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony that stayed dry even during the afternoon rainstorms! The location is fantastic, too! It is close to the famous Pub Street and not too far from Angkor Wat. Speaking of Angkor Wat, I especially want to highlight my experience with the temple tour arranged by the hotel. I came to Siem Reap for a short business trip and admittedly did not spend any time researching tour companies or transportation options beforehand. Thankfully, everything worked out perfectly because the hotel was able to arrange everything for me, and I booked the tour with them upon arrival. My tour guide, Som, was absolutely amazing! He was professional, energetic, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. He speaks fluent English, so communication was never an issue. He mentioned that he grew up in Siem Reap, has been a tour guide for over 10 years, and that being a tour guide is passion, which really showed in his enthusiasm and approach to the tour! We visited Angkor Wat and several other nearby temples. Som shared fascinating insights not only about the history of each temple but also about Cambodia's ancient history and its more recent past, including the Khmer Rouge era and the country's development since then. I learned so much from him! I also brought my camera along, and Som was quick to point out great spots for photos. He was incredibly patient, even when I occasionally spent several minutes trying to get just the right shot! Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Golden Temple Residence and would highly recommend both the hotel and Som as a tour guide. The hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine warmth of everyone I met made my short stay in Siem Reap especially memorable!

Very nice upscale spa, decor and atmosphere are very relaxing. I have s simple metric for the quality of the massage. I frequently experience low back and hip.pain, and after spending a day climbing in temples and stooping through doorways my pain level was significant. After a 2 hour oil massage however I felt pain free and spent the evening walking the town and trying the restaurants in the area. Thank you!
