Just half a mile from Siem Reap’s town center, Sala Lodges are a beautiful, authentic immersion into Cambodian culture. Each lodge has a story. “Muoy,” known as the house with many roofs, came from Ta Prom village, where its carpenter embellished it with ornate, heartfelt details before he and his family moved away. The master bedroom now shimmers with patinaed furniture from India, a country that strongly influenced Khmer culture. “Dop Pi” belonged to Madame Ro Hong, a 70-year-old descendant of Chinese traders.

What an amazing boutique resort. The owner and his Wife could not have been more friendly and helpful and the staff truly is interested in exceeding expectations. Each lodge is a different and unique building and walking into the resort, and especially one's cabin is a true "WOW" moment. If you are visiting Siem Reap I would make staying here a part of your adventure... and book an extra night ! ! Also, they do an excellent job of helping arrange a tour of Angkor Wat.

We feel so fortunate to have managed to get a booking here and our experience did not disappoint. Everything was amazing! The grounds, the individual houses, the small touches and the kind little gifts. The restaurant serves exceptional food, made with passion. This boutique hotel is run to perfection. The whole team are professional and kind and can’t do enough to ensure you have a wonderful stay. This hands down was the most beautiful hotel we stayed in during our 3 week trip to south east Asia. I would go back to Siem Reap again purely to stay here. Thank you so much for welcoming us and making our stay so memorable!

This place is truly exceptional. Sala Lodges is a small oasis of peace, surrounded by lush greenery and an atmosphere of total serenity. The owner, of Swiss origin, is an absolutely wonderful person: kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — someone who really makes you feel at home. We stayed in Suite number 10, which is simply fantastic: beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail reflects care and taste. All the staff are incredibly kind and always smiling, making the experience even more special. Without exaggeration, this is one of the most beautiful places we have seen in Cambodia. Thank you to everyone for such a memorable stay. We are truly grateful.

Highly recommend! I would go back to Siem Reap just to visit the Sala Lodge again. The food, service and rooms were excellent. We loved the breakfast - make sure to try the iced Cambodian coffee and muesli. The happy hour drinks were our favorite in all of Cambodia. Thank you to the entire Sala team for making our stay so wonderful and we hope to return again to see you soon!

We stayed at Sala lodges for 5 nights to begin our travels around Cambodia and we were so sad to go. It is a peaceful, sanctury away from siem reap centre but easily walkable or 3 dollars for a Tuk Tuk organised by the hotel. We did some amazing trips to the countryside and Ankor wat which were organised by the hotel, they were costly but fabulous - our guide was brilliant and we even got cold towels and a packed breakfast which was such a wonderful touch! The rooms were absolutely stunning and huge, amazing bathroom too and spotless. The lovely staff did a turndown service each evening which was so cute - leaving some thoughtful little gifts too. Breakfast one of the best ever, the highlight was each day they gave a different coloured juice healthy juice, which the menu explains all the benefits of. Delicious eggs, fruit and pastries plus such lovely coffee and I even loved the pottery & design of all the serving plates & bowls etc. The staff were smiley, kind and went above and beyond - they always remembered who we were and what were up to. I also want to shout out to the wonderful security guard who made us fresh coffees to take to our Ankor wat sunrise tour, it was so kind of him. We chilled by the pool lots which was mainly empty which surprised us, was a treat to have the area to ourselves and lovely little pool area. We loved it here and will be back soon I hope thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay and being so kind and helpful!
