Our Home away from Home

Our stay was truly magical. We got to enjoy amazing food and wine with a very professional staff. The area itself has a lot to do, but it was difficult to leave!

Exceptional Belmond Hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This is the seventh Belmond Hotel that we have stayed at and it did not disappoint. In fact, the friendly service that we received over our four-day stay from all of the staff was unparalleled. We were very pleased to be upgraded to a Luxury suite, Villa 17, with an enormous ensuite bathroom. All our windows presented endless views over the Tuscan countryside of both the sunrise and the sunset. After enjoying the sumptuous breakfast buffet, we went down to enjoy the beautiful pool area and the very comfortable lounges. We ate in their fine dining restaurant on two nights; on the terrace for the "Dinner under the Stars" night; and on the lower terrace on the remaining night. The food and wine was exceptional on each occasion. The presentation of each dish was meticulous and a feast for the eyes as well as for the taste buds. The Chef deserves at least one Michelin star. The staff all knew us by name and were gracious and friendly hosts. Of note, were Alessandro, Amadeo, Elena, Gabrielle and Ramze. The Essere Spa, hosted by Max, was well worth visiting. Edy gave a fantastic relaxing massage; Antoinella, using the Spa's own AD+ range of cosmetics, gave a wonderful facial; and Naomi gave a great manicure and polish treatment. Thank you to all staff for a wonderful stay. We will definitely return for another exceptional experience. Highly, highly recommended.

Magical Tuscan Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My daughter and I spent 5 nights recently at Castello di Casole and had a lovely stay. The setting is incredible, the views are breathtaking, and the accommodations were fantastic. We spent a lot of time at the pool and it was great. Food was very good at the pool, but the menu was limited after 3 pm. There aren't many options close by for meals, so be prepared to either venture into one of the small towns within 20-40+ minutes (Casole d'Elsa being the closest, Siena/Florence/San Gimignano being further away). I don't love driving the small, winding roads at night, so we stayed at the hotel most evenings. The food was very good, but the menu was a bit limited at the more casual restaurant, and the prices were higher than at other luxury restaurants we have stayed at in Italy. That being said, they were very accommodating when we ordered room service and brought some requested items that weren't on the menu. Tennis and pickleball courts were great. The staff were lovely and remembered our names. We would return, ideally when the weather is a bit cooler.
