Best hotel ever. Didn’t want to leave!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This hotel is phenomenal. Truly one of the best I have visited in the world. Every detail has been thought of and carefully curated. It’s luxury! It is beautiful every where you look. I love that it is a destination itself that you don’t have to leave. You can enjoy all the hotel amenities—wine tasting, spa, pool, etc. multiple restaurants too! The food was delicious. Our room was amazing. Quiet. Well stocked. Spacious and clean. The staff made the whole trip so much better they were amazing and so sweet with you 6 month old baby.

Honeymoon Trip

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

My wife and I were here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The hotel is beautiful and the activities arranged by the hotel were amazing each day. Specifically the truffle hunting and the cooking class. The cooking class with Chef Sergio was unforgettable and the food was amazing. My wife has celiac disease and he was so accommodating with making separate dishes with the same sauce for her. He was amazing and such a fun guy to hang out with as well for the day! The truffle hunting with Marta and Mauro was so much fun and the lunch at the winery after was incredible. The staff at La Colonna were amazing with my wife’s celiac disease as well and were awesome accommodating dishes for her. We can’t wait to be back soon!!

Best hotel we've been to!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Location shows countless views of Tuscan countryside. Estate is beautiful with many gardens and greenery. Many amenities to enjoy time. They were very accommodating to my family with small children. The staff seemed to know us on a more personal level from even the time we got in. Our room was amazing with a lot of Tuscan charm. It was great value. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect honeymoon hotel in the heart of Tuscany

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This hotel is beautiful. We came for our honeymoon and enjoyed every day. We actually wish we'd spent more time (we did 5 days, 4 nights), because there's so much to explore in this area of Tuscany. We got upgraded to a lovely room with an outdoor area overlooking the Tuscan hills - cozy and charming on the interior, and we loved the design and architecture, which felt very traditional without trying too hard. We spent our days lounging by the pool and eating breakfast in the outdoor restaurant - it's beautiful, and the staff is very attentive. The highlight of our trip was a Vespa ride through the Tuscan hills, which we booked through the hotel. Someone dropped off the Vespa and gave us a quick lesson — we were a little nervous at first, but it's really fun once you get the hang of it! The concierge team was so easy to work with - one of them printed out directions to three possible destinations, along with photos, which was such a thoughtful and helpful touch. We took him up on his recommendation to head toward Radda, the most charming hillside Tuscan town. We got lunch, strolled the streets, and ended with gelato before driving back. It was just a really fun, lighthearted day. We'd definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone. There was a good mix of couples and families - if you want something quieter, the sister property, The Club House, is adults-only, but we didn't mind having families and kids around. It was still very quiet and pleasant.
