Toilet in room didn’t work for half a day but stay was nice staff friendly and helpful.

Do yourself a favour
Wonderful place to holiday for our family of 6 adults with 5 kids under 6! The kids are well & truly catered for which consequently ticks the boxes for the adults! I cannot speak more highly of the Fijian people, their friendliness, the music, their singing is to die for & they are so welcoming!!! Plenty of option for kids meals, the beach is totally little kid friendly, they can play in the shallow water safely for hours! Collecting shells ( with crabs in them!!!!) was their favourite pastime! We stayed in the beach front bures , outstanding accommodation, comfortable beds, great showers, fabulous service! The only thing you do need to be aware of is everything moves on “Fijian time” It can take awhile but it will get done!!! Overall 5 out of 5

Blissful paradise
My husband and I had an amazing time at the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort. Everything was extremely beautiful. The service was phenomenal and we were well taken care of. The food and drinks were so delicious! I loved alt eh events hosted during our stay and the water activities were a huge plus! I can’t thank you all enough for making us feel so welcomed and home away from home. Thank you for being so kind and fun! We will definitely be back with the rest of our family!

Outrigger - Totoka Makeup/Hair
I stayed at the Outrigger Resort for a wedding. The ladies at Totoka Salon in Outrigger did the entire Bridal Party's hair and makeup and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were efficient and professional. They came to our room, and it was the usual wedding chaos; but they were calm and respectful. They catered to each of our own personal wants and we were all so so happy with how everything turned out! Would 100% recommend and would happily have them do my own wedding.

I really don't get all the positive reviews. 3 is a fair but generous score. This place is mid. Out of the 25 or so staff we engaged with over the course of the 4/5 gave a surly vibe repeatedly. We (all four of us) experienced minimal common courtesy despite being polite. On top of that expect to pay Australian prices for very average food and generally poor service at literally ever one of the restaurants (it will take you 20 min to be seated and served even when not busy. They cannot remember orders and food is very hit and miss - the same dish changes from being really nice one day to terrible the next when another chef comes in) . Buffet is exorbitant for what you get. Expect to pay $200 plus drinks for each dinner. Kids loved the pool but its all a bit dated. Our rooms were great to be fair and loved the space however we did pay significantly extra for them. Honestly, on a value to experience basis NZ is much better and I'd pay extra to go to Hawaii instead.
