OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort

Wonderful experience, wedding was fantastic. Couldn't fault the service and friendliness from all the staff.

We are a couple who came with a couple and their kids so be aware that this was our choice and the review takes this into account. The resort is amazing for kids. The staff are lovely, there are great activities for kids, the pool is amazing, and the snorkeling was good (obviously bleached coral, but they were able to get out there). The food is generally ok. The Baravi Bar has good Asian food… it’s a bit of a mix but we enjoyed our meals there. The kids had good burgers and chips and the drinks selection is good. The buffet breakfast was ok. The kids found enough to eat but it wasn’t amazing. Things were a bit cold or overcooked, nothing felt like it was hot or fresh. But again, the staff were amazing and the servers were lovely. There is an amazing adults only bar and pool so if you’re here and want want to get away from the kids section, this is amazing. The beachside Bure where we stayed was so comfortable and we invited our friends and kids down for movie night and hang outs. The food at the seafood buffet night was mostly inedible… I can’t recommend much, but don’t do it if you love seafood. All in all, our stay was great! Just avoid the buffet and eat at the the other restaurants if you are paying for a meal. The fire show on Sunday night was amazing!! Great for kids, ok for couples, would recommend it for families absolutely.

It was one of the best family holidays we have had. Outrigger Resort Fiji has everything for everyone. We did coral reef planting, snorkeling, sea kayaking, sip and paint (highlight!), kids cooking classes, visiting to the local pottery village and kids made pottery to take home, cultural tours, firewalking shows, in addition to play on the beach/sand and the water slides and inflatables in the pool. Another unique experience was the frog racing!! The buffet breakfast and dinner were amazing and the rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable. There were laundry facilities on site and babysitting and kids club for those with younger children/infants. We also visited the local Kula park and saw the iguanas and did archery, paint ball shooting, also option to do golf driving range. The basketball shoot out competitions were fun and there is also table tennis, a virtual reality games room as well! Amazing place, plenty to do for all ages! Would definitely come back! Vinaka!

We had a pleasant stay at Outrigger Fiji. It’s a beautiful family-friendly resort with a great location and plenty of activities, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the service was good. However, based on our experience, we would not consider this a 5-star resort. There are quite a few areas that feel dated and could definitely be improved. The gym was particularly disappointing for a resort advertised as 5-star. The equipment and machines were quite outdated and not very modern, and there was only one mat available to use. The tennis court and soccer area also need some attention. The soccer goal posts were heavily rusted and damaged, with parts actually broken off, and they hadn’t been replaced. There also isn’t a huge variety when it comes to dining. There are only two restaurants that really cater to children, so families don’t have many options to choose from during their stay. Overall, it’s a nice resort with beautiful surroundings and plenty to keep families occupied, but I think it’s important to manage expectations. Personally, I would rate it closer to a 3-star resort rather than 5-star based on the facilities, dining options and overall experience. If you’re booking expecting a true 5-star experience, you may be disappointed.

Such a great place. Friendly staff and so accommodating. Would love you have had a table and chairs in room to be able to sit and eat meals.
