OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort

We flew from the US to meet up with our son who is in the Peace Corps, currently living on one of the Tongan islands. We had a lovely experience, staff was so friendly and kind, the food was good and the activities were very entertaining. We had drinks and dancing with a few Awesome Australian new friends! It was a relaxing great time, Thanks for good memories..❤️

My wife and I visited Outrigger to celebrate our Honeymoon, and we had an incredible time. The staff are so lovely and friendly, and went out of their way to help make our trip special. We stayed in a Plantation Private Pool Bure which we highly recommend. We had our own heated pool, a large shower with rainwater shower head and a spacious bathroom. Coffee and tea were complimentary with a pod coffee machine / kettle in the room. The bed was very comfortable. We had a half board package and that provided us with more food than we could possibly eat. The portion sizes at each restaurant are very generous and the quality of food was amazing. We really recommend the Sundowner restaurant and Ivi, but each different restaurant was exceptional and you really cannot go wrong. Vahavu - the adults only section of the resort, including a restaurant and a swim-up bar - was a highlight for us. The cocktails were delicious and the service was top notch. Suzie, Salome and Isaia were so lovely (as were the whole staff). Breakfast at Vahavu was amazing - great, generous portion size and great food. As was breakfast at the Kana buffet. Our Talai butler service was absolutely one of the highlights for us - providing a complimentary beverage and canapés each evening between 5-7pm. Asena, our butler, even made a surprise message and flower artwork on our bedspread with a message wishing us a Happy Honeymoon. We really loved our time at Outrigger Fiji, and we would definitely recommend it for anyone - we noticed a lot of families, as it seems to be a very family friendly resort, but we also enjoyed our time thoroughly as a newly wed couple. We will be back!!

We loved absolutely everything - rooms, activities, resort, pool etc except the food! The food (except for buffet Brekky) was awful!! It’s such a shame, we love everything about the outrigger but the food was a deal breaker for us!!

Extremely expensive yet mediocre at best

Nice resort clean with plenty of room and food options, rooms were comfy and large. The adults pool is great and the garden staff and front foyer staff amazing. One downfall is the location is 2hrs from airport, tour marina and many shops/restaurants. But the biggest disappointment was my EarPods were stolen from my locked room on day 3, although security did investigate the dishonest staff member didn’t own up. If you stay here take all valuables with you before getting the room cleaned.
