OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort

The outrigger is a great choice for families. The resort caters to everyone’s needs. We traveled with 3 kids and 2 adults. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and relaxed! We utilised the mei mei service, our mei mei was Va, she was incredible with our 2 young kids, they loved going to spend time with her and she made the experience very special for them, doing lots of cultural activities and creating lots of special artwork with the kids that we could take home. Brendan at the activities area was incredible, doing coconut husking with the kids on the beach and getting to try fresh coconut was a real highlight. Elenoa at the Sundowner was exceptional, we needed up going back again just for how amazing her service and friendly positive attitude and attentiveness was. She recommended food and drinks for us which were out of this world! Finally our housekeeper Selia, she remembered all of our names from day 1 and whenever we went passed would come out to say Bula and see how we were doing. She was so warm and it was refreshing to come back to our room after being out all day to it being refreshed and relaxing! A real stand out for us! I’m saddened that the staff at Outrigger are not paid as they should be, this is an incredible resort which is full of travelers and families. I’d really love to see the staff are paid better wages, the amenities are good but the staff are what really make the experience at the resort stand out! They’re all amazing!

The staff at the resort were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The service and standard of accommodation and facilities were remarkably. Our package included a jet boat experience on the longest river and a visit to a local traditional village. Highly recommended the resort. Very family friendly.

Our experience at the Outrigger was very average. The service was not great. Forget ordering a cocktail by the pool. The only way to orders drink was to head up to the bar and then wait another 45 minutes for your drink to arrive. Waiting to be served at lunch and more waiting because our lunch got lost because the staff didn’t record our table location properly was unfortunate. Lunch wasn’t really enjoyable after that. The pool side lounge chairs had no cushions so very uncomfortable to lay on. Would I return to the Outrigger or recommend this resort as a holiday destination - unfortunately not.

Perfect location and resort to unwind and enjoy the Fijian hospitality. Private bure with own pool was stunning and peaceful.

Ivi rrestraunt needs to have food out in a reasonable time 2hrs is unacceptable. Pool bar needs to stop giving out hot food which is cold. The ocean view rooms need to have notices for residents to be respectful of the noise they create for surrounding rooms. Overall nice resort, staff very friendly and helpful.
