Outstanding Stay – Clean, Quiet, and Perfectly Located

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We stayed here in January 2024 and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The rooms were spotless, modern, and well-maintained—exactly what you’d expect from a property of this standard. The layout of the room was practical and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made our stay even more pleasant, such as ample storage, a spacious bathroom, and high-quality linens. The hallways were consistently quiet, which made for restful nights. One of the real highlights was the housekeeping team—they were efficient, discreet, and incredibly thorough. The front desk and concierge staff were also excellent: warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with directions, reservations, or local recommendations. The location is unbeatable. It’s just a short, pleasant walk to ION Orchard and Orchard Road, giving easy access to some of the best shopping, dining, and entertainment in Singapore while still feeling tucked away enough for peace and quiet when you return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-tier service.

Wonderful stay let down by 2 disappointing experiences, hoping Four Seasons can make it right for me and other guests.

Recently stayed 8 nights at Four Seasons Singapore (1st - 9th June) and overall, it was a good stay - nice service, beautiful rooms, and standout amenities. But 2 incidents left me REALLY disappointed, especially given the high standards I'm used to as a regular Four Seasons guest globally. The Disappointments: 1) Mini Bar Confusion: Each day, two small packs of chocolate bites were placed neatly next to the complimentary water in the room and restocked daily. I assumed they were part of the hotel’s welcome gesture, especially since they weren’t placed in the mini bar drawers or fridge, where the other items were. I was surprised (and disappointed) to see around $40 SGD per day added to my bill on checkout. I'm confident many guests would assume the same as me that they were complimentary. I strongly encourage the hotel to rethink this setup, as it comes across as a bit sneaky and leaves a bad taste at checkout. It was embarrassing to raise at checkout as people were stood around me, but I really think it's something that should be changed. 2) Inappropriate Guest Incident at the Bar: On Friday 6th June, between 10–11pm, I was approached and harassed by a visibly drunk lady at the bar restaurant — not once, but twice. The staff on duty, including a Western gentleman fronting the bar, saw this and chose not to intervene. Eventually, a female Singaporean team member offered an apology and said she was a regular visitor and was drunk, but the lack of action at the time was disappointing and left me uncomfortable and embarrassed in a place I normally think of safety and class. Worse still, the same drunk women came to me second time about 20 minutes later, and did it again, smelling of alcohol and cigarettes and again the same staff saw and didn't act. I was surprised by this. The Highlights: The bed and pillows were among the most comfortable I’ve experienced, incredible sleep quality aided by true blackout curtains. Housekeeping was exceptional, tidy, thoughtful, even wrapping up my cables each day. I appreciated the generous amount of complimentary bottled water provided daily. Reception staff were warm, helpful, and incredibly professional. The dining staff, both at the main restaurant and at Nobu, were fantastic. The gym is without doubt the best I’ve ever used in a hotel. Sleek, spacious, beautifully equipped. Lastly, the Thai green curry ice cream at Nobu and the wagyu steak were brilliant dishes. I would genuinely love to stay here again, because I love the Four Seasons brand. But I really hope these two concerns are addressed, especially the bar incident and the somewhat misleading minibar layout. Otherwise the hotel is a 5-star in every way. I'd be happy to talk to the team as I've run a hotel myself and know how hard it is, and understand, but I do think these changes and upgrades would make the world of difference. Looking forward to hearing from management.

Went to Nobu@four seasons on eve of hari raya. Food is good with nice ambiance. Love the small little sides and nips. Overall, i found it premium and exclusive dinning experience for this staycation. Will love to visit again later part of the year again.

Excellent Stay with Exceptional Service, but Limited Indian Vegetarian Options

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We had a wonderful stay at Four Seasons Singapore. The service was impeccable—staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Room service was prompt and professional. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and never felt crowded. Rooms are spacious and luxurious, and the bathroom amenities were top-notch. The concierge and bell desk were particularly helpful with all our requests. Our only suggestion would be to improve the Indian vegetarian food options. While some Indian dishes were available, they lacked authenticity and did not suit the Indian palate. Classic items like dosa, idli, chutney, and sambar were missing. For a hotel that caters to global guests, including many Indian travelers, more thoughtful and authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine would elevate the overall dining experience.

Not what one expects at a Four Seasons

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We stayed at the Four Seasons, Singapore for 5 nights at the start of May. The staff were really attentive, with all knowing our names pretty quickly. The hotel is a little dated but nonetheless very comfortable. The hotel is just off Orchard Rd and a short steamy walk to Takeshimaya Department Store for example. Some maintenance and/or upgrades are required. Our standard king room was very comfortable and spacious with views over the main swimming pool. Food offerings at the main hotel restaurant were plentiful and varied and always very well prepared. The buffet breakfast was good if somewhat expensive. We ate at the Chinese restaurant one night - very good Peking Duck! We did not eat at Nobu as we were going to the Kuala Lumpur one. Would we stay here again? Likely not, as there are other similarly priced high end hotel properties in Singapore and no doubt much more modern in look and feel.
