Loved the hotel room and grounds. Excellent service. The rooms were clean and the design was very cool. Checking was smooth and staff was very helpful and friendly.

The service was not up to standard and was significantly worse compared with my previous two visits. The phone operators were unhelpful and often came across as arrogant when I called, and on one occasion my call was not returned. I had also specifically requested maintenance for the air conditioning because when I check in I feel like I’m in a sauna room, but it is still not cold and the issue has not been properly resolved. Overall, I am very disappointed with the service and would expect much better follow-up and customer service. Will i come back, still a question

2 days prior to our first time in Singapore, I received an email from the Assistant Manager that our room is SOLD OUT and that we can upgrade to a bigger room that can comfortably fit my family of 3, but we would have to pay an extra $148 usd on top of what I was already charged for. For a company that has 29 locations globally, this is inconvenient, unacceptable, and caused frustration and worry to our travel plans because I booked the room more than a month in advance and we placed a budget for this trip accordingly. There were multiple attempts to contact me before our trip to let me know what the problem was but I never received any email only 2 days prior to our arrival. When we checked-in, the gentlemen at the front desk had some concerns regarding the room I booked. I told him I was going back and forth with the Assistant Manager via email regarding the room. He wanted to see the email for himself before he could proceed so I showed him the email. The gentlemen said that the room I book were 2 twin beds that could only fit 2 adults. I told him when I booked the room, the photos for the room showed 1 twin bed and 1 full bed so that should fit my family and I. I showed him the photo of the room and he started stuttering-- telling me "yes, that's the photo of the upgraded room". I told him well you folks need to change that on your website. If it's two twin beds, show that on the photo. Not one photo for all the rooms. That will confuse your guests. After going back and forth with him, and him still trying to up sell me the upgraded room which I refused, the room that was supposedly"sold out" was some how, some where available. 🤔 that's interesting.... I thought it was "SOLD OUT"? Overall, my family and I fit comfortably in the room i originally booked for 3 days and 2 nights.
