COMO Metropolitan Singapore

Generally, this was a good experience, not great. The room was a nice corner spot with great light - with the shades up! When down, the room did not have nearly enough light and it was difficult because we couldn't see well, esp at night. The bathroom had big floor to ceiling windows that offered great views but had to be closed when we were using the facilities or showering, which made the room unusably dark. For a new hotel, the wood floors were really banged up, as was the TV, which definitely needs to be raised up a couple of feet. The biggest issue during our stay was cleanliness - floor dirty when we checked in and dirty when we checked out. Hallway carpets looked dirty and didn't appear to be vacuumed frequently. Water pressure in the shower was minimal, only one bedside table which was mostly taken up with a big speaker. Hooks, another table, and towel bars in the bathroom would be helpful. Food at the restaurant was good, fruit fresh and tasty. Croissants, made in the bakery on the first floor, were amazing! Service was friendly if not particularly timely. We enjoyed interacting with Cassandra, one of the concierges, who had excellent English and gave us great suggestions. Location was great, though, being near Orchard Road.

A truly delightful stay, the COMO is my new fav hotel in Singapore. This oasis of calm and wellness is tucked away amongst the bustle of Orchard Road - perfect for those who love to shop. Rooms are large and luxurious with healthy snacks and an abundance of amenities at your fingertips. Ideal for work trips there’s WiFi throughout - including the pool which doubled as my second office. It’s easy to see why it’s rated the 8th best rooftop pool in Singapore, with a clear bottom base overlooking the road below, very cool! I also used the gym, which had high tech equipment connecting to my Apple Watch, showing wellness at every turn. Dining here is truly next level. The sexy Korean bbq at Cote is an absolute must with some of the best cuts of meat you’ll ever have. The COMO Shamabala is another must-visit for your stay, with healthy well balanced dishes at the helm of Chef Timothy. I stayed a week in Singapore and had my standout meal here - tandoori cauliflower that I am still dreaming about. The food is SO good, and I’m not surprised under the cultured eye of Ms Ong. All in all, we had the most perfect stay and hospitality at COMO, I plan to return again (and again)

10/10 STARS - How does this hotel only have 80 reviews on Trip advisor and is 4.6 starts. This has to be one of the best hotels and experiences we have had. Location is amazing on Orchard Street. Mosque around the corner (for those interested). Staff was fantastic. Every staff member wanted to make our stay amazing. Breakfast choices were amazing. Cedric Grolet croissants are always appreciated. Nasi Goreng every morning for me while the family flipped between Laksa and eggs. Great infinity pool on the roof. We had amazing sunrise and set views from there while we swam. At sunrise it was empty - just me and my family. Hotel coffee robot was always busy but a fun experience. Coffee/Lattes and other drinks were very good. If I recall correctly, they machine closes after 7 or 8 PM until 7 AM the next day for any milk coffee/lattes. I have to recognize Cassandra (concierge), she went above and beyond to make sure we were able to eat everywhere on our list and visit every single location. Bravo to her. Best concierge experience ever. The room were great, spacious, clean, full of amazing toiletries. Room was kept clean and the cleaning crew did an amazing job. Umbrellas are available for use while you stay there. If we ever return to Singapore, we will not think twice but stay here.

10/10 experience! Highly recommend to business travellers, couples and families. Fantastic location - close to shopping and restaurants. Impeccable cleanliness- the cleaning staff should be commended. Check in seamless and very helpful front desk staff. Breakfast tasty and good variety.If you want to train/workout the gym is excellent (lots of equipment, good quality and very clean). Will return.
