Gold Lounge staff made all the difference — thank you to June, James, Elfaiz, and Sam for making us feel welcome and cared for. The hotel itself is well positioned (connected to an MRT station for easy access to the airport and city) and the room, although a bit dark, had great windows and was extremely comfortable and well-serviced. As a Diamond member the amenities provided were just average (no free pressing, no spa access, etc that I’ve enjoyed at other Fairmont properties) but again the staff really made the stay a lovely one. For those who are athletically-inclined: the gym is well-appointed with cardio equipment and free weights and the pool, while short, does have two roped-off lap lanes. (Get a swim in early to avoid the many kids.)

We stayed at the Fairmont in Singapore for a week or so and found it just Marvellous Every staff member was committed and happily extended ‘above & beyond service’ as per their five star rating from Reception, Concierge, Restaurant Staff etc. But in particular outstanding help with provided by Jean, Jane, James, Ham, Sam & young El faiz at the Fairmont Gold Lounge Housekeeping was meticulously serviced daily by a young man Rama Lingom. All these people went way beyond their Employment Commitment to provide us hospitable and Excellent Service. We thoroughly recommend anyone visiting Singapore to stay at the Fairmont Hotel

Wow. This continues to be my favourite hotel as it scores highly in almost every aspect. My last experience was simply amazing. This is probably the only hotel that recognises their loyal customers, and its pricing its actually not far from its competition. Having also stayed in many Hotels (including Accor ones) in its vicinity (excluding Raffles which is for a unique market segment), Fairmont is probably the best among the 5* mainstream hotel selection. Did 2 stays recently, one in May and one in June. Had a few stays with them over the last 2 years earlier. Either due to loyalty status, repeated guest or it was a down period.. in the last visit, the room type was upgraded and late check out was granted a few days before check-in. In most hotels, this was only a given on the day of check in and the day before check out. During Check-In, the manager from its loyalty department gave his welcome and his name card which was surprising. Room was in well-maintained and clean. Probably, the cleanest hotel I stayed in. The bed was wearing out. Well-done to the housekeeping folks. Lounge staff was also exceptional. At least 3 staff recognised us visiting again. Service remains exceptional, and makes a short staycation very pleasant. (this is lacking in many hotels including 5* ones in Singapore). For us, as locals, we just want a place to chill and enjoy. Keep up the good work, Fairmont Singapore. Have already booked our next couple of visits.

I wanted to share how wonderful our experience was with Sarenah at the Fairmont Singapore front office during our recent stay. She truly made our trip for my husband's birthday staycation memorable. She's honestly the best front office staff I've met. From the moment we checked in, Sarenah was so helpful and paid attention to every detail. When she saw us coming with our baby, stroller, and luggage, she immediately asked if we needed help taking them to the room, which was very kind. When she found out it was my husband's birthday, she went above and beyond. She quickly made a call and got special approval for a room upgrade on the spot when we asked, and even gave us a high-floor room with a great view without us even mentioning it. It was a lovely surprise! She also arranged for a cake and chocolates to be sent to our room, which was a really sweet gesture. Plus, she handwrote a thoughtful, long note, making it feel very personal. To top it off, she gave us a late check-out until 3 PM, which made our last day so much more relaxed. Sarenah was truly dedicated to making our stay perfect. She even asked about our dinner plans for the birthday celebration, ready to give us suggestions. Her professional, warm, and proactive service made our birthday celebration truly special. Sarenah is a real asset to the Fairmont team, and her care for guests is outstanding. Thank you, Sarenah, for everything!

Great service from Ramalingam during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and done with a smile a great attitude. He looked after our hotel room and it was always made up and restored to order faultlessly. He and the other staff at the Fairmont consistently provide excellent service.
